whole point of college football is high powered offenses that drop 50 points a game. Defense for sure needs a fix but at the same time even if it’s a good defense if their going against a high powered offense their not gonna stop them from dropping 50 most of the time. it will be frustrating but that’s jus how college football is irl. also the creator playing against the college player doesn’t play madden game’s competitively he is known for his rebuilds so that could also be his safety’s played so deep on a lot of this gameplay.

He got a point, a safety’s first step should be forward unless they know without a doubt that it’s pass but that takes high FB IQ. Them safety’s are dropping back five yards on run plays, hopefully they fix this because I love the defense in football.

in this stream they were playing with a month old build. it was filmed long before the video actually came out. you are literally judging this game based on an unfinished build. and safety are used for the last line against a running back, so they aren't going t stupidly rush after a running back, especially when that back has a high trucking or juke stat.

For the Texas route he was on the D tackle 90% of the time the AI will get cooked on a Texas 99% of the time
