Hiya,, I enjoyed the video, it's a shame more people arnt looking at this video and others but I'll veiw the positive that they are missing out on great informative bike content, because I really enjoyed just a nice indepth tyre review, it's great the way you ride because you're not putting on massive loads on the tyres and drive system and clutch all that will help the motor and tyres ect last longer, nice smooth riding can be just if not faster then whack open the throttle that will load and unload the suspension to alot faster and unsettle the bike , leading to a at sea motion, the avons look well for it anyway and it's great you're looking after the bike so well so hat's off to you on that. Another great point is kawasaki sorting out the disks, which could be expensive, so great result and hat's off to them for that . Do I take it your ex forces with the road trip reference? I'm no mechanic but I understand the value of good maintenance because my late dad was ex forces and a engineer/ mechanic, I picked my bike up tonight with it's shiny new tyres on so I was gingerly tip toeing around.. felt odd but that's because I been riding with 4 year old track day squared off avon av79 on, both square..and I got new chain and sprockets so yeah happy days and put new clutch fluid in and clutch jet that hasn't made finding neutral easier so a new clutch slave clynder it is. Ohh well take care and keep safe. Paul.

Hi there Paul, I appreciate your time on the comments you've been making and thank you for the positivity; it encourages me to keep going despite the lack of views. Perhaps I have a niche market ;-) . In regard to the front discs, Kawasaki UK made a substantial contribution, but I still had to find an equal amount. Still, cheaper than paying for the whole lot myself so I am grateful to them for that. The aspect of maintenance is something I value highly, particularly preventative maintenance, something I wasn't quite so strong on when I was younger...mind you I don't have as much disposable income these days (mortgage), as back then. The road trip reference - yes I did spend sometime in green, and as I have a relative (great grandfather) buried in one of the First World War cemeteries in France, it'd be great to visit there and take in some other sites too. The Z900 is pretty challenging on luggage carrying so that in itself could be an interesting video to make. I hope your 'shiny new tyres' are settling down by now and giving you the pleasure you want from them. I'd be interested to So, take it easy and all the best, Steve.

@teabrake2562 thanks for your nice reply Steve, I liked your reply, well done for serving and u hope you enjoy your road trip and enjoy your time with the bike, my bike is proving to be challenging to say the least, when things either go wrong or you sometimes feel life is against you, but I will sort it,, and drag my 20 plus year bike into the 21,St century kicking and screaming and it will blooming well like it, it blooming well better it's costing enough but will be worth it lol. All the best Paul, and the tyres are working out OK, they are starting to come good.,I had all my brakes rebuild or put new on so it stops in a heartbeat and the engine is stonking and still pulling hard past silly speeds, obviously not that I go over 70 on the road,, humm.🤣.. as for preventative maintenance I wasn't big on that when I was younger to,, I should have been especially with Me dad bollocking me for not looking after it,, but bless him he allways saw me right through life by fixing it with me, probably learnt more with him then at school 🏫.
