@@unconditionallyinlove not saying its a bad edit at all, in fact I think it's actually pretty well done, I just think the overall vibe isnt there, it's meant to be constructive criticism, I genuinely am trying to help u cuz like i can see potential in how u edit. Also, I'm neither a girl or 16 or even watch riverdale for that fact anymore (I've seen it I just don't watch it anymore). Believe me I have insecurities but not a damn one of them are about my editing skills lol, I genuinely have some suggestions to expand on what I meant by this comment. Main thing is that the vibe itself isn't there. By that I mean it just looks like a song played over a cool edit, the key is to tie them together and essentially make the audio of the clips and the song coinside. You can achieve this super easily but a good example of that is this video (ruclips.net/video/fTIxdmXUtRE/видео.html) I know this isn't the exact vibe ur trying for but the point is that it feels "fuller" in a way and very well done. Your visuals are there don't get me wrong but I'm trying to say the audio doesn't really fit yet but genuinely it could. It's all about making the viewer feel involved in the edit and find a connection to the thing, songs like "high enough" aren't meant to be taken literally either, so using a clip of cheryl drinking for "I used to like drinking to get me inspired" is a tad too literal. The song as im sure u kno is about being drunk enough on love you dont need drugs anymore so basically no one in this show but im just saying that vibe can still be achieved and could probably actually go viral for an edit. Thats why this isnt viral because its wayy too literal appealing to the 14 yr olds in these comments lol. I'm genuinely offering advice feel free to hmu if u need any help or anything
