After Jesus saved me, a friend turned me on to Petra, it was a big part of my life as Jesus used Christian music to break one of the strongholds on my heart that I did not even realize at first was sin. Jesus love you and so do i.

The song that nearly got me kicked out as a Sunday school teacher. I brought the CD into my 3/4 grade class. It was the end of season. The boys ate it up. Pulling out air guitars. The girls danced. The parents were NOT amused. 25 years later one of the boys is associate pastor at very same church and now leads the contemporary service. Yes! God us the true rock in Rock'n'roll

My friend introduced this song to me on our way to Delhi by Rajdhani train. I instantly fell in love with it. You don't know how many times i listened over and over again. One of the best songs ever.

I’m 19 years old back when I was in elementary school and we’d do children’s worship this was one of the songs we’d listen to and dance to every few weeks and now as a leader in the exact same children’s ministry they played it and one of the 4th grade kids that was sitting near me said “why do we have to listen to this old stuff?” I’ve never laughed harder in my life I then explained this was one of the favorites back in my day “8 years ago”😂
I’m currently going through their discography. I love 80s and 90s music, and I’ve been going through a tough time. I’m not a huge fan of modern christian music for how overproduced and fake it sounds. I’m glad I found Petra, coincidentally my mom’s name. Wow, their music is theologically sound and very much glorifies and honors God. May God help me during this tumultuous time!

This has brought back memories and a life forgoten. I didn't even know it was Petra that did this---was a staple of children's service when I was a kid. Makes me feel seven again.

The first time I heard this song, driving in my car, I thought, "Boy, that sounds a lot like Petra".... I hadn't listened to their music since my college days! It was good to know they are still making great music!
Grew up in an assembly of God church. Raised by my grandparents, they were NOT amused when they heard Petra or Carmen, Michael W Smith and others in the contemporary realm. Once they realized that it was not a bad thing to ENJOY being a Christian they came around. Dont get me wrong...Papa wasnt jammimg out to a Petra cassette tape in his work truck and it surely wasnt getting sung for a Sunday special by Sis. Beth, but the church in general recognized these kids are still worshiping, just in a fun way.
