Nearly an hour of Metra and Amtrak Trains in Downtown Chicago!

On two different days in August 2021, I visited Downtown Chicago to catch rush hour Metra and Amtrak Trains. Metra MDN, MDW, NCS, UPN, UPW, and UPNW trains are all shown throughout the video. Amtrak's Hiawatha and Empire Builder trains also make a few appearances. Most of my time was spent around a parking garage off of Clinton Street, but I also caught some trains at the Clybourn, and Western Avenue stations!

Another great video, Sam! All the locations where great places to watch and document the Metra trains that travel on the various former Chicago & North Western Railroad and former Milwaukee Road Railroad commuter lines that are now run my Letra Rail. Thank you for taking a couple of August 2021 days and spending them capturing all of those commuter trains and the Amtrak trains too. I liked the portion of the video where you fast forwarded the trains coming out of Union Station and the Ogilvie Transportation Center.

Man there is so much action in Chicago! Looks like things are back to normal over there in the Metra area it seems. Awesome catches! I thought they run 10-12 car trains there, I guess they cut them back to 8-9 at the most.
