Vw are always optimistic. You should not trust of their body computer.
My 2021 Polo 1.0 TSI was EXTREMELY accurate. When the computer showed 5,0L/100 km on a tank, I usually had around 4,8L/100 real fuel consumption (measured with help from the Fuelio app). I traded that car for a 2022 model Polo 1.0 TSI, when that shows 5L it's usually 5,1-5,2L/100 km. So in my experience the computers from VW are really accurate (at least in Polos)

You forgot to add some 3600 euro for driving diesel on 1400 rpm :D DPF clogged, egr stuck, egr cooler stuffed, intake manifold/canals clogged, possibly PCV cracked :D yeah nice way of ruining your car for 2 liters of fuel consumption.

Golf lies, if you can measure the speed through GPS, or maybe is liying in the measure of liters. I am sure is a good fuel saver, but 6.0 at 160 km h is impossible
My 1.6 tdi Leon 5f is about 6.0 in a 400 km trip with speed 140-150 kph, considered that this is a bigger engine with much more torque, there is a possibility that it's true
yes, i saw other fuel consumption videos with golf 8 and they aren't as good as he shows here.
