I’m an exceedingly clumsy person as well haha I think I went through multiple packs of bandaids, broke way too many nails, stubbed my toes more times than I can count, and would wake up with bruises all over my legs from who knows what- so you’d be in good company 🤍

I was screaming please paint the skirting boards the same colour and glad you did, it looks so seamless 😌 an idea.. since you need to blur out the window for privacy and it’s gonna be a place you maybe film by a lot, to keep up the aesthetic of it all have you considered like those window covers that you spray on with water? You could get stained glass effect and it would look like library vibes! Also moulding on the white walls to look less modern but still modern, y know? 🕯📚
Oo are you taking about privacy film? I actually bought a stained glass privacy film that I’d been considering using, but I keep hesitating for whatever reason. This might be the kick I need to try it out though! And I hadn’t considered doing like a board&batten effect on the white walls! That actually would be amazing. Your ideas are fantastic, thank you for this 🤍🤍

That’s what I mean, I couldn’t think of what it was called 😂 even if you try and don’t like it you can just remove it :) It would look amazing and be so easy after the bookshelves! If you did just over halfway up you could add a ledge for things like candlesticks etc.. no problem! Even if you didn’t do anything else the room still looks fab and you should be proud 🖤
Definitely not rental friendly! Since I didn’t remove the carpet or baseboards theoretically it could be undone and patched up but it would be a huge hassle
