Had the dreaded adblue, engine lights take to stealership on my 2018 1.5diesel.. cured simply.. took car for a 5 mile journey. Put in 3rd and accelerated till revs were over 4000rpm, kept at 4000 revs for 5 seconds and then again for 5 seconds. Adblue light disappeared but spanner light and emissions light stayed on. Next day drove car to work, 10 miles away, spanner and emissions light were still on at the start of journey but disappeared by the end of journey.. morale of the story.. diesels like men need a good blow out every now and then
Once had a Peugeot 2008 on a 15 plate , eloys light came on , filled bag tank , put it back on , took ages to find how to tell the car it had a full bag , looked like something from a hospital , if you know what I mean Sandy 😂😂, once reset it was fine , just the 2 hours of my life I didn't get back 👍👍
JUST MY TWO CENTS BUT,,, WHEN I USE A SCANTOOL I ALWAYS TRY TO FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS SO IF SOMETHING DOESN'T GO ACCORDING TO PLAN I CAN BE SURE IT'S NOT USER ERROR...THANKS FOR YOUR VERY INFORMATIVE VIDEOS HOPE TO SEE EVEN MORE THIS YEAR !!!!!!
Have the same problem with my 3008 16 plate. Changed the NOx Sensor A year ago and now the problem is back. Tried fitting another NOx Sensor and still the same error U029e and no communication with the whole urea system as the NOx sensor can not communicate. Fortunately I can reset the mileage count clearing all DTC codes with thinkdiag 2. Tried reinstalling the NOx sensor, no luck. 😔😔
@@dogblessamerica mine stays on limp mode all the time. As the pressure sensor is reading high, I got to the conclusion that I need a new DPF. Have not changed yet though.
When mine urea light came on a citroen c4 grand picasso 2016 I just fill the tank up back and the light disappeared same time didn't have to reset nothing
I wish it was that easy, my 308 light came on I put 15 litres in to fill it up now dash said 1500 miles till shutdown. Cleared codes said no codes found adblue level light still on. Phoned Peugeot garage up said it will go out once you have done 50 mile run. Done 200 miles now saying 1300 mile range before shutdown. I think the float in the tank is stuck at the bottom of the tank, not sure if it’s removal to clean maybe crystal is up Maybe need a better computer to clear codes hidden deeper in the ecu car computer
Hi! I have a similar error on the dashboard. OBD scanner says is U059e error. I've been to a mechanic who re-mapped the adblue tank, error dissappear but after 10 Km appeared again. He then claimed that I need to change the AdBlue tank. Is this error connected to the AdBlue tank or to NoX sensor? I have a Berlingo 1.6 BluHDI 2015. I've already changed the tank 65000 Km ago.
I also have the same problem Peugeot 208 2016 1.6HDi I’ve replaced the nox sensor and adblue infection nozzle But the problem hasn’t been fixed Only 400 miles til disaster! 😭
Very easy solved this problem . You must write again sensor and nozzle in computer (motor section ) becouse you out electric contacts of this device, and system not see this device again . Next time out contact of battery , before working wth electric components .
Brilliant video, very informative. I'm changing the nox sensor on the wife's 16 plate 2008 1.6 later today - she has 500 miles till death. If I disconnect the battery before changing it to you think I'll avoid needing to get the ecu reset?
I've just had to pay 1200 for a new urea tank that has nox sensor included. I had everything reset 3 times but in the end the tank had to be replaced. 2016 308sw 1.6 blue
@@kevans3575 where did you get the adblue tank replaced I have the same problem with my Peugeot 208 1.6 HDi 2016, I’ve replaced the nox sensor and adblue injector nozzle. I was thinking of getting a new tank off eBay and replace it myself. But not sure if that’s gonna sort the issue!

The peugeot adblue system is the most unreliable on modern cars it hasa massive design fault and peugeot are using this as a cash cow a tank and a nox sensor I'll cost 1600 £ fitted
There are so many place to do resets nowadays it can be very confusing, well done for getting to the end of it Sandy & thanks for sharing 🙏👍
Thanks sandy, was pulling my hair out trying to get rid of the urea light but following your info and using Maxy elite it worked 👍

What was your mileage when the fault came up and How's your fix/repair holding up?

The tank unit gives problems but there's also a software update that can cure alot of these issues.

Do you have to continually be resetting the mileage counter and living with the warnings flashing up every two minutes?

Respected, could the same thing be done with the vw-Audi group so that the remaining km disappear, with the alleged replacement of the Nox sensor.
