Ngl as someone who has played DD for the first time this year, it sucks all the hours grinding for these cards is going to be pointless when the new season hits. Makes me contemplate if i wanna do it all over again 🤔
Last year it was all 99's. SDS can't figure anything out. They make changes just to change something at this point.

I'm used to playing madden and every year I would find guys I wanted to use and then use them most of the year. While that's fun, what I love about this is you can just keep changing your team and so much free content it's never obsolete
Let's look at it another way. I like it. In Madden you grind for months to finally build 99 teams after months on the game. I like to look at it as, I get to "play" the game 3 or 4 times during it's course in the market rather than one long haul just to make a 99 team a few months before the newest edition hits the market. It's a game, the grind is the fun, plus those who just got the game will be on equal playing field when the season resets. Just a thought, have a lovely day my friends

We need more players from the 2000s era , Like Arod , Ichrio , But a Mo Vaughn Roberto Alomar would be cool , but a team affinity with Sammy , Mark , Ken , Frank and Chipper all 99s .... Idk maybe it's the era I grew up watching in my late teens And early 20s

Alomar was in the game a few yrs back if I remember correctly. Not sure what happened as to why he's not now? But the card wasn't all that good. They kinda did him dirty. I think he was in 21'

I’ve completed most divisions of the first two chapters without even realizing. I feel like there are a lot more packs that are giving to you than last years game.
Pickoff quirk goes insane randy and degrom both have it and i pick people off pretty regularly if they take a step

You just have to time the pickoff at first right it’s hard but I’ve done it a couple times

What's up guys. Can anyone please tell me with the new team affinity players which ones fit the David Ortiz boost. I bought Jim Edmonds thinking he would fit the team and he doesn't. Which is odd because he and Gary Sheffield played pretty much the same years but for some reason Sheffield makes the David Ortiz team. This is super frustrating just wanting to know which players get boosted by Ortiz.
Make Ortiz the captain and then when you search for players check the "boosted by captain" option, then search. They all should pop up

Yes I think it’s core and then the current season are always the ones you can use in ranked
Super underwhelmed by these TA3 cards. You mentioned the few good ones (Escobar, B-Rob, Wood, Lee) but honestly some of the non 99 overalls we got recently are WAY more useful/fun to use. The Topps Now Wenceel Perez is better than 90% of these TA3 cards. Hell, even Bellinger is a better lefty hitter than maybe all of the lefty hitters in this TA chapter. And we get about 25 more days to unlock and use these. I don't get it.

Is this process normal in Diamond Dynasty. Now, the methods are not as extreme as say Madden or 2k, but it is damn close. I been grinding the heck out of this game, NMS. My kid enjoys the packs so I accumulate and he opens them. We play mostly offline. I tend to think oline, folks lack any integrity in sports games and just cheese. This set up for the 99s in Affinity Program. The time needed is insane, mini seasons, conquest and vs the CPU. As if they are forcing us to play a certain way. Now the game is fun outside the CPU making amazing plays always. I see greed lurking in the shadows, similar to how 2k and Madden have unfolded. Am I wrong?

Totally agree with stone. MLB 23 was NOT like this. I just realized you can't even get the repeatable pxp points for using players from teams in that division. Only on chapter 3 thus making it harder for us to achieve these cards. SDS San Diego studios BRAGGED about improvements and things to this game while ignoring to mention the negative opposite of improvements such as XP CAP, adding only the good cards in packs, and now making chapter 3 cards only achievable by doing sectioned missions. Certain amount of hits or k's etc in conquest/ vs CPU/ mini seasons. Breaking it all down to WTF. I was wondering why I wasn't getting any % towards chapter 3. Then I saw there was no pxp team missions. Fucking absolute garbage. I would seriously love to file a suit for a refund for the bullshit they did to this game without mentioning what they did..... They did not even fix the clipping such an easy fix. Like when you toss over to first with a runner on. The 1st basement arm goes right through the runners body. Stupid... Next Gen? Hardly

@@mysunsburneraccount2076 I think you can get up to 3 Wild Cards per season but you have to earn them from the Season XP Program, so you wont have any to start
Of course not. They're SEASON ONE cards. You can only use them in s2 if you wild card them.

Packs suck! I just opened 157 packs + 19 Ballin and I got 0 diamonds. Not even 1 diamond. Feels like a big middle finger to me

Chapter 3 would be worth the grind if they didn’t fuck over free to play players by removing 30cards from the season 1 collection, I bought a bunch of shitty ass gold cards hoping to finish the s1 collection and it was a massive waste of stubs, all I wanted to do was get Willie and wild card him but no sds is nothing but a fucking money grab these days, literally would be 50 cards away rn if they didn’t fucking do this shit
