It's thanks to him, we managed to fulfill our mission and blow our load in the climax of battle !

Video recordings don't really do justice to the sounds of these weapons in real life.
I was a sergeant - commander of such unit in my military service back in 2001 (Bulgarian forces). The effect of the weapon is good when tried on old T-55 and T-72 tanks if hit at a right angle. But doubtful if some reactive armour or modern composite armour is used. I guess it was mainly effective against APCs and armoured fighting vehicles.
@@Mortablunt well - usually in modern combat tanks get busted from many vantage points - not just single weapon - even close artillery hits can damage the modern outside aiming equipment - and even if a RPG-7 damage the tracks - tank is pretty much done (can’t move, can’t go out of danger). Man-portable anti-armour are usually desperation weapons :-).

ok, so I have spoken to my colleague who has served as an Fagot operator in Polish Army, and he said that, ok its better than Malyutka, but hit probability was significantly lower than producer estimates, rangin from 60% down to 20% for moving target, and it also worsened as guidance equipment components aged. In fact, ATGMs are handy, but a bit overhyped weapons, recently seen test for Javelin and Spike, they can miss targets too, and that happens more frequently than you think. So, I prefer Spike with ability to manual correction of lock-on, or even fully manual targeting, instead of javelins only auto mode.
I have not seen a second.. but the thumbnail made me forget even THAT name and focus on for 5 seconds the not fun easy time it would be facing a dozen of these in the smog filled battlefield... jeeez... one of the most dangerous At I have ever seen.
So with the inability to track an AFV going faster than 60 kph, the ability of the US Abrams and Bradley to travel cross country at 45 mph or more than 72 kph and fire on the move is a bigger advantage than I thought.
