Thank you, gentlemen, for your wonderful podcast!! I love your Bible study & your discussion of current events!! If we truly want to receive Grace from God, we need to learn to give grace to each other!! I’m not saying it will be easy, & we can’t do it alone, but we don’t have to!! God will help us navigate through it.

The bathrooms at Buc -ees (the women’s) have a traffic “officer”. She would point out which stall was available. I made sure to compliment her in the job she was doing (even though it looked like it could be boring).
Smart to avoid food places like that. Typically not the safest, best qualities of food. The one good thing though, at least it is a high turnover rate.
Eve was tempted to eat of the fruit because she wanted to have knowledge of good & evil like God. But that didn't give us what we really needed. So God gave us Yeshua/Jesus who showed us how to live, & his Holy Spirit to help us live good lives.

I hit a buc-ee's on i-75 between my home and my dad's in oak ridge Tennessee. I take my dog for a walk, then I use the restroom, I get myself an iced coffee and I grabbed a protein box, and usually a new t-shirt. Then we hit the road again feeling fresh and happy!
OK y'all, you are so wrong about pot lucks!! We ladies work hard to make the best dishes we know how. Every dish is outstanding quality! And then the desserts. We have made from scratch pecan and pumpkin and apple pies, brownies, cookies, jello salads. Beautiful green salads and fruit salads. And I know every kitchen that these meals come from and they are all spotless!
When it comes to knowing the Word of God. We all have blind spots that we have to work on getting rid of. If you're in a deer blind and the deer is on the side of your blind where you can't see it. Then you aren't going to be able to shoot it. It's not in your view. The more we study the Word the less blind spots we have. No one can know everything there's to know about an eternal God! It would take an eternity to learn all there is about God.
I have to agree that buffets are no-go’s for me as well. I struggled with group meals at church for simple reasons - some people have no culinary skills and can be a bit filthy in their practices. BTW… cocoa powder and paprika do not substitute one another. Deviled eggs are fine with paprika, not cocoa powder! I ate it, but was repulsed!
Buccees is awesome! Come to a Texas Buccees- we’d love to have the duck guys. We’ve passed by the Buccees on the I10 exit to orange beach - the traffic at that one is ridiculous.
I have not been to Buccees. We tried once a wk after the 1 opened in Springfield MO & traffic was lined across the overpass down that hiway, then lined on I44. We finally got to the exit to go down I44 east, opposite direction we were headed. Nope. I would think that goes against code having SO many in 1 building @ 1 time.
I am a truck driver. I cannot stand Buckys Bucky is so rude to their truck drivers. They have no respect for trucks at all. I deliver their food after the delivery. You have to leave immediately because you’re in a truck.
I’m not a fan of buffets because it gives people a reason to eat way more than they should and then they end up getting rid of it soon after one way or another. As far as potlucks, I did homecare for a lady who cooked for church potlucks and I witnessed first hand how unsanitary it was prepared. I’ll leave the rest up to your imagination. That alone scarred me for life!
Yall are so wrong on the songs that are 150 plus years old. There is nothing more touching, and will tig at your heart than the original hymns. These new songs, number one you can't understand them, and they have no true meaning! I would love to find a church that still sang the old, old, old songs.

Buc-ees is a combination of Cracker barrel and Hobby Lobby. Over priced and too many people. We live about 20 miles from one in Calhoun, Georgia and I have been there one time and don't care to go back.
Are their false teachers? Teaching false doctrine? Jesus, Paul, Peter, and Jude said there are? The Elders were to silence them. Paul said some things folks don’t like 1 Timothy 2:12. Love Jesus and love the word. Study it and handle it aright 2 Timothy 2:15. Ya’ll need to back off the churches of Christ. Have you been to every one? You say don’t put others churches down but are you doing it yourself? We love Jesus, love people, inside and outside of His church.
