I chose a corner lot before COVID did a lot of family gathering so plenty of parking, 80% of the fence is mine and my way, drawbacks are lots of sidewalk to shovel and front yard landscaping but I like to keep busy...
What about a corner lot in a cul de sac? It's just as expensive as inside the cul de sac, but the lot easement is better than inside the pizza-shaped lots.
