    A great reaction!
That was such as amazing performance. With Steve, of course :)
Trey actually uploaded the entire show on youtube.

You all should consider watching the official video. It was one of the few death metal videos on MTV back in the day!

John.... your evaluation and interpretation of the guitar solos here is spot on. Their primary guitarist and founding member..... Trey as egg Thoth has always said that the music is like summoning rituals in his mind. And that the solos are these extensions into the cosmos basically reaching out to the Muse and wherever it takes him is wherever it takes him. The standard rules of sweep picking and super precise blah blah blah just are not really part of that equation when embracing chaos theory in a musical manner. It is very liberating and I'm sure he was inspired by the Slayer style of chaos over complete accuracy.... and it also shares something in common with avant-garde jazz. Anyway man your assertation is really quite astute and consider me impressed.

No where as good without their original vocalist David Vincent.

Absolutely, i'd pay gold to hear every track from Formulas/Gateways etc... with David Vincent on vocals. Steve Tucker absolutely sucks, unintelligible and definitely not even remotely close to Vincent in anything at all.
