Oooh you got to see coatis! Jealous. I thought about getting a coatimundi as a pet since raccoons are illegal in my state. I’m an experienced weird pet gal
Jayma, I notice in a lot of your layouts all of your pictures have a white border. You also show clusters of photos that look like they're all one print with white border. Do you print your photos like that? Do you have a printer that does it or do you send them out? It's such a clean nice look and I'm trying to figure out how everyone does it. It looks like a lot of close to my heart scrapbookers do it.
Hi! I usually add a white border of cardstock around all my photos because more often than not I like to start with a white mat. You can print with a white border but I like the added dimension/texture of the CS. For this layout, I did add a white border around the small photos and I have a tutorial showing exactly how to collage photos like that: ruclips.net/video/v2IAFAytt1k/видео.htmlsi=E1wkUdALqqwWeyOf
I have a question. As a mom to two young girls and a full time teacher (who's last day is today!), how do you find time to scrapbook with kids? I don't think I've done a single layout since last summer (and maybe not even then). I miss it but can't figure out how to build time into my day for it.
That is a really good question! And yay, congrats on your last day!! I have always been a night owl and feel the most creative at night, so usually my crafty time is after my kiddos go to sleep. Sometimes it’s during the day while they’re at school (except not so much now that summer is here!) 😂 But I know that after working all day, especially a job as demanding as teaching, that all you want to do is relax after the kids go to bed! That still happens for me too…many nights I’m just like, NOPE, I’m gonna crawl in bed and watch RUclips! 😂 My SIL is a 2nd grade teacher and doesn’t have kids yet but only scrapbooks during breaks and summer because she is so exhausted after work. She may sometimes on weekends too. Give yourself some grace! You are in a hard part of motherhood and you are doing amazing!!! If you have some energy after your kids go to bed, then maybe just do a little bit here and there. Don’t feel like you need to finish a whole layout in one sitting. Maybe one night choose a sketch and your photos, one night select the paper and stamps/embellishments, and then another night or two, put it all together. Sometimes when you break it down like that it can feel more manageable. In fact, I do that sometimes! And also, sometimes when you sit down thinking you’re just doing one thing, you find your groove and a second wind and do even more. Another great way to work distraction-free is to attend a day crop or weekend retreat. It can be a hassle to have to pack your stuff, but it’s so nice to have the social time and time away from the house to focus. Wishing you the best of luck for a crafty summer!!! Let me know how it goes! 💗
Really like hearing you talk thru your process.

Hi, I saw you and your daughter on Craft Roulette and came over to say hi…& I see you’re a scrapbooker who uses a Cricut.
Hi Cindy! Thanks for coming by. Yep, that pretty much sums me up. 😂 I don’t always use my Cricut but do love it. Do you use a Cricut too?
Love this page what was the big leaf circle called on the cricut if u don’t mind me asking
Hello! It is #MD39018 in Cricut DS.

Hello! Are you still using your Epson 400, printing at home for your photos?
Yep, I sure am! I love it!!!
What was the circular element called??
Do you mean the wreath? It is #MD39018 in Cricut.
@@JaymaMalme yes. I just couldn’t find it but when I put in wreath, it came right up.
Sorry. Comment 2. I use my mats to cut sprigs from the wasted space
