Such beautiful cards and excellent tutorial! Thank you for sharing your talents, Dawn. You are an excellent teacher. My favorite card today was the vintage style.
Oh there is nothing I don’t LOVE about the vintage card…BEEEE UTI FuL!!! Thank you so much for the instruction, I am forwarding this video on to my friends, it’s not only lovely but easy to understand! THANKS!!!
Dawn, thank you for sharing the 2-brush method. I've seen it before by other artists, but rarely, & could never remember the process when I wanted to do it. Hopefully my memory will grab onto your video! I also used to use Antique Linen for no-line watercolor, before the advent of no-line inks. Mostly because that's what the Big-Name Cardmakers used. I never had good luck with it. When I used it, it generally "melted away" too soon & I lost my lines before I didn't need them. So I am personally glad for no-line coloring inks. I find they work especially well with colored pencils, too. Anyway, thank you for sharing. I love both cards, but I think the first one is my favorite, from the soft colors to the deckled edges. I'm sure your mom & sister will love them. I just hope they don't watch this video before Mother's Day! LOL Take care, & have an awesome day! :)
Totally understand! I do like the no line inks for Copic markers and pencils. I’ve noticed that the distress ink stays put a little more on 100% cotton watercolor paper than on the paper/cotton blend papers and mixed media papers. My theory is the cotton “stains” a bit and holds onto it a little more. 💞
Lovely ❤
Spectacular- so inspiring!
I could watch you watercolor all day!! LOVE it ❤❤❤

I love your work so much. But cannot pick a favorite!!!
Dawn, your teaching style is so great for me. I took your watercolor class a few years ago, and each new watercolor video helps me along.
Both are very pretty. It makes me want to watercolor a card.
Thank you. Oh my gosh you are so talented. Amazing and beautiful cards (art) I have run out of words...
As usual Dawn, great video. You are an excellent teacher.
