For a team bottom of the championship they did surprisingly well to challenge man city for a lot of the game and to only lose 2-0, I feel many premier league sides have had worse defeats against the first choice city team guardiola fields like he did here.

That's not true. If you watched the game, you'll see that we struggled to create anything in the first 60 minutes. It wasn't for lack of trying, the moves and execution just weren't coming off.
