During the first season of StarStruck, they had a singing week where they brought in Regine Velasquez to assess the singing abilities of the contestants. Regine named Jen as one of the contestants who stood out. She could hear that she has potential to be a good singer, despite Jen singing out of the proper beat/timing during the assessment, perhaps because of nervousness and shyness 😅
Dennis on the other hand recorded an album as well (I think it was in 2006), and his debut album was produced by Regine and Ogie! He used to be a performer at a Sunday variety show on GMA as well, but he prioritized acting. Well, both he and Jen prioritized acting so we rarely hear them sing together like this 😁

Dennis is also a drummer (even way back in highschool). Trillo is just a stage name given to him. That's usual in Philippine Showbiz, they sometimes change the artist' name to give the actor/actress a better name recall (can't remember the exact term.... but something like that).
