    CF videos are eye-opening! Hope you plan to make an in-depth series, perhaps building a few pages from scratch and then showing scope of changes.

    Would you still recommend it now that variables are native and AT has their own? Does core provide enough against these to justify it?

    • @WPTuts
      @WPTuts  16 дней назад +1

      I personally think so, yes.
      The only addition to the core Bricks is the variable manager. This doesn't create your framework; it simply allows you to create your own variables and manage them in the editor.

    • @OneBrokeBloke
      @OneBrokeBloke 16 дней назад

      But also compared to AT? It seems to do most of what Core is good for. Though Core just seems more polished, but it is an extra plugin and expense.

      Do you really think content creators should promote his products or support him after being insulted repeatedly? He has mocked every content creator for using teleprompters, for editing videos before uploading them to RUclips, recently he said all content creators who promote Elementor are FRAUDS. He insulted Imran from Web Squadron day and night and after all this do you still expect content creators to support him?

      Not really Jim, while I have access to ACSS and Frames, I'm happy with Core Framework right now. :)

    I have a question, I purchased the Core Framework add-on for Bricks. I don't know how to use a class created in Core in Bricks. It does not appear on the list of available classes in Bricks. Please help.

    • @WPTuts
      @WPTuts  4 месяца назад

      Have you installed and activated the Bricks addon in Core Framework on the site you're working on?
      If you have, you can right click inside the relevant settings (margins, etc.,) and you should get the pop-up with the various definitions available from CF.

    • @MarekSzulikowski
      @MarekSzulikowski 4 месяца назад

      Thank you very much for your answer. The class created in Core did not appear in the Bricks class list because I omitted the dot before the class name. I also noticed that classes created in Core in Bricks appear with a delay. Anyway, after 5 years in Elementor, I am rediscovering the beauty of creating pages. Elementor has made me terribly lazy :) I have to remember the css syntax, but I have the impression that it's worth it. Sorry for my English. Greetings from Poland.@@WPTuts

    Wait - the Container size width ? Not the max-width ? in your case the container will always be the MAX-screen size of Core framework. I think that's may wrong ?

    • @jeffreydalrymple4491
      @jeffreydalrymple4491 5 месяцев назад

      I’ve always had issues adding max-width to bricks containers, it pushes the container out of the screen. Adding width instead of max-width solves this issue.

    • @WPTuts
      @WPTuts  5 месяцев назад

      Yes, it should have been the Max Width and not Width box - my mistake in the video (it was the 3rd time recording it and it's been a very long week - lol).

    Tell Matt Mullenweg to peel off a little bit of that giant stack of cash and to buy Bricks and replace Gutenberg with it.

    • @Jim.Hummel
      @Jim.Hummel 5 месяцев назад +1

      HaHa!! Not a bad thought but I'd actually prefer that Thomas & the Bricks Community keep making the decisions versus WP. It's taken over 5 years to get to where Gutenberg is right now and I find it really frustrating to use for anything other than the most basic of tasks. If anything, I'd rather see Matt & the WP team embrace the ecosystem of pagebuilders and associated tools. Based on the recent WP event, I get the feeling they are thinking Gutenberg is the only way forward which is a shame.

    • @jeremyrangel8138
      @jeremyrangel8138 5 месяцев назад +2

      @@Jim.Hummel Well, there's certainly a case to be made that Wordpress should include a full-featured, visual site/page builder. Yes, there are lots of options out there (Bricks, Elementor, Beaver, etc.), but they all have the the two main problems: 1) a paid/freemium model, and 2) since they aren't part of Wordpress, changes in either the Wordpress codebase or the builder plugin codebase can (and do) break things.
