- The No. 22 NC State Wolfpack jumped all over the rival North Carolina Tar Heels and never looked back in their 39-20 win. The Wolfpack defense was impressive, holding Drake Maye to 22-38 passing for 254 yards with 3 turnovers in the loss. The Wolfpack offense scored on its first 7 possessions and Brennan Armstrong was impressive, completing 22-31 passes for 356 total yards with 3 touchdown passes in the win. KC Concepcion continued his stellar play with 186 total yards and 2 touchdown catches for Dave Doeren's crew.
Brennan Armstrong’s story is incredible. from dealing with the tragedy at UVA and transferring here only to be boo’d off the field and benched, to then come back and light up the field is truly inspiring. he seems like a great guy too. happy for him and the wolfpack. maye throwing a pick on his last throw in Raleigh is poetic too.
Brennan comes from my hometown. I've been watching him since high school. He just keeps getting better with each team. Wow, what an impressive season! Brennan is a positive force of nature. I hope the NFL gives him a serious look. They won't be disappointed!!

This game over before it started. I told my friend that UNC would have to score 45-50 points to beat State and that was a good assessment. I based that on UNC giving up 24-45 points or more on 7 of their games, now 8.
My score prediction for this game was close, was thinking State scoring 35-42 points and UNC less than 20. If UNC had a half-ass defense they'd have a good team but not a great team. Just another day in ACC-land.

After watching this video my question is why Drake? What are people seeing in his play that everyone anoints him the 2nd best QBin this draft? I mean Caleb won the Heisman last year and Daniel’s this year so I understand why they get hype. I don’t pretend to have an eye for QBs but to my eyes Armstrong was at least equal to Maye if not better. Anyways, hope Washington drafts Payton Wilson!!!!

UNC fan here just want to say a couple things firstly congrats nc st y’all deserved the dub, secondly Soren the coach for nc st is spectacular I don’t think he will leave but if he does take another job that team will be a national contender I just don’t think he can do it at state, third UNC needs fire on coaching staff even Mack the players don’t play with the any grit and determination are not well coached and are being wasted talent I would like to see us hire the James Madison coach or the coach from app st, however most importantly I just want to say thank you to a UNC legend in drake maye the best UNC qb ever it has so been so fun to watch you and there is no doubt that he will do big things in the nfl unfortunately this game was a perfect example of UNC football has no help offensively with both ints not being his fault and the defense being worst than the jv defense at my highschool(we went 0-12 btw and did hold a single team to to under 30) this kid is a stud and plz do not play in the bowl and don’t let your pride make you come back for one more year.
