I work in the dairy manufacturing industry for the last 34 odd years here in Vic and we have a lot to do with truck operators, so yeah, I know how you guys operate and live in your trucks to keep things moving for the rest of us, cheers bud. 👍🤘🫶😊

I love when companies go to the effort to provide onsite accommodation like Lindays. Just being able to have a 24 hour in a nice room with AC would be so nice when you're away from home. Are you allowed to use the accommodation if you're passing through town and ready for your 7 hour break, or do they prefer if drivers have their 7 hour breaks in the truck?

That Gilgandra road house is still the same as back in 1999 when i used to roll in and grab a hamburger to eat.
It's great to see the good old days and still exists to this day.

Really great video Ken. The effort you put in to each part of the video is so appreciated, Music is always on point too. Really liked this one and all those changing vistas of the countryside.. Have done the Newell many times from Melb - Brisbane (in a car).. highway seems to have improved alot since i last did that trip. Enjoy those 24 hour breaks and take care on the road! :)

Another great video Ken. In regards to something you said about not getting out of an area by 2 i think you said, it's the same into Brisbane, got to be on the north side of the Gateway Bridge by 2pm up around the Shell, or you get caught in the school traffic pretty soon after. Same thing coming in from the North, I'd aim to come in between 9.30-10pm, getting into the markets by 11, because we had to be unloaded and headed for the gate by 12 or you couldn't move for the swarm of forklifts and people trying to do their job, that place really comes to life at midnight.
Sydney and Melbourne are worse!!

Can you tell us more about the ad-blue and how often you top it up
I normally top up the adblue every 2nd or 3rd trip,… depending on how heavy I am I’ll get maybe 2000 kms on 50 litres of adblue,… it’s sprayed into the exhaust system which neutralises the carbons in the exhaust system on the way out
