I love the Catch. Farming it was totally worth it. I use it on Xiangling and her damage got so much better! And I don't even have the Emblem set for her right now. I am still 2 Artifacts short. I guess Emblem will push the damage even more.
@@lybasily if you want to build a burst hu tao then sure. better 4 star options would be deathmatch and dragons bane. For me most of hutaos damage comes from her e+charged and vaporize/melt so I use dragons bane (bc it’s the best polearm for hutao that I have) to capitalize on the reactions

Hu Tao's main source of damage is her skill + charged attacks, which the Catch does nothing for both in it's passive and main stat. It's not the worst weapon you could use for her, but she has better 4* options, and the Catch is better used on someone else.

I’m thinking most people with an R5 Catch used that super fishing event that greatly increased the fish count and respawn rate. For everyone that missed that, max-ing out the Catch turns from a week long slog to a multi-month one.
Xiangling with an r5 Catch and 4 piece Emblem set is super busted. This weapon is definitely worth all the silly farming, especially if you're f2p. Heck, this weapon is great on Zhongli as well.

I r5ed the catch a while ago... I think the fishing is very relaxing lmao i bought everything in the mondstadt liyue and inazuma fish shops... But now i got lazy especially bc theres nothing new to buy
@@popcorn520 ATK and Electro gives you less ER than ER and ATK, which also means Raiden's Burst doesn't give the party as much energy. That's the setup I'm running personally, especially since I have no good Electro goblets and ATK goblets with good substats are much easier to get anyways. As CheesyCake said, it depends on your substats, and what you want from your Raiden.
@@chickensky1121 200+er is already enough i have 63crit rate 140 crit dmg and 210er with atk sands and electro goblet she hits about 95k(60 resolve) no buffs just alone raiden which is pretty good for a c0 raiden and yes you'll get less er for the team if you have less er but it's not that much of a difference i have 210ER on her so i get 26 energy back for the entire team now as you said you'd lose ER if you don't have enough er on her for example you have 250 er on her with er sands, atk gob, catch and barely get any er from the substats you'll be getting 36 energy back with 250er on her only 6 energy diffrence compared to me which isn't that much FOR ME and with er atk you'll be losing alot on damage which in my view isn't worth for 6 extra energy I'd rather have more damage than 6 flat energy but it depends on what you want
It's better to add where it's lacking. That said, it's better to add to electro damage (ed). Think about this for a sec... To serve as an example: divide 700 points between stats. 500atk x 200ed = 100,000 350atk x 350ed = 122,500 Try any other combination as much as youd like, nothing else beats the latter. It's simple maths. Better to even it out or at least supplement the lowest stats.. hope this helps on your future games.
True it wasnt worth the pain cuz I can just take my time fishing different fish while fishing the important fish, but the annoying part is the Raimei Angelfish that u have to get guarded by a Electro Abyss mage ambushing u out of nowhere ans some cryo slimes but it is still mamageable
My favorite way To use Baal is in my elemental madness Abbys team with yanfei as main dps, kazuha as sub dps / support, then I’ve got Baal and xingqui for off field damage. It’s sweet having pyro, hydro, and electro all hitting at once. It’s pretty fun and surprisingly effective for how badly built I have them all

The biggest wait for me was for the fish in the electro wreckage spot to respawn, but even then it was about 3 weeks to get The Catch, it was done before Luxurious Sealord came out.
i always enjoy watching genshin videos with just super good teams characters and im kinda jealous of how im unable to get to that point since im full F2P though i dont see it as a bad thing its more of im not focusing on rising my own characters that can help me on top of that i dont have synergy for when i use my second team i just need help with building teams and what i should be getting
I did r5 in a single day. It's not as hard as people say. Just locate where the particular fish spawns and do it in a rotation,once you are finished fishing in your world just go on random coop world and fish there. ✨✨
I finally completed the atrocious task and bought the catch+r5 aa cpl of hours ago. Took three days and 18 worlds but it was worth it. The feeling of accomplishment is so relieving
And that is why if you have a lot friends, then you can visit onto their world to have a mass abudance of fishes that u can get (my catch is now r3 in just 2 days)
see at the 8:30 mark i got distracted by my itchy ingrown toenail so i suffered immensely and managed to slide something in there and peel my ingrown toenail out temporarily and was then greeted by the sight of the giant bloody hole in my toe, i feel like amputating it would be easier then shearing off the skin on the side of my toe to get access to the toenail inside so that i could then clip it. anyway this is a great guide on how build raiden, taking notes.
I finally farmed for the catch after getting Ei yesterday, and I already have r5! still building my Raiden (lvl 55) atm because I was saving for Ayaka but decided to pull now, and it was worth it! she's doing 36k burst and sometimes 85k with the catch lvl 80. it took me around 6-7hrs to get all the fish, and I had to join a LOT of ppl worlds.
I farmed it in around 3 to 4 hours visiting 8-9 worlds but half of them were for the last 10 bitter pufferfish. I got super lucky, 10+ pufferfish on my first half worlds and my own
If you want a good ftp wep for hu tao use the white tassel with the shinwa set. It buffs her normal attack and charged attacks by 48% at r5 then the shinwa set bonus boosts it by another 50%.
I remember maxing the catch when it first came out, the event made it better but also everyone was getting Raiden so you basically weren’t able to touch anyones fishes and you had to wait for them to respawn lmao. Pure pain

When Mogawty was about to hit the activate button on Bennett's C6 I felt the start of a panic attack. I hate that C6 so much I can't even joke about it.
I just got the mood and finish to R5 and lvl it up to 90 in about 6 hour, moving from my friend account to another, askin for fish. The pain is real, my back hurt, my hand shakin, and my eyes might be in trouble.
I get the catch r5 in a day it took me like 4-5 hours I recommend co oping with people and asking them if it’s okay then going to the marked places quickly. It was kinda fun to co op a lot cuz I like Genshin people🥰
Then there are people who maxes out all the shops before the fishing event even started (To be clear I only maxed them on day 4 of the event so I'm not one of those mad lads)
I did it all (obtain and r5) in yesterday (Saturday) just go into online worlds and ask if it's ok for you to fish, and go to the same 2-3 spots. Mine is only lv80 because I'm not ar45 but it really fun on Xiangling!
My anxious ahh refused to coop so I painstakingly fished through out weeks😭I learned a few stuff like if u caught the fish in daytime,u can switch it to nighttime for more of the fish u need and vice versa. And sometimes when u catch a for example pufferfish, there is a chance the pond will generate a new pufferfish or other fish so it might be worth to catch all the fish if u the patience. Oh and btw when I did r5 the catch,I realized my skyward spine WAS ALREADY GOOD ENOUGH😭all those weeks of dedication just to go to a xiangling. There was a single good thing tho which was that I was able to lvl 90 the catch with no farming which was AMAZING best W all week.
i think people overblow how hard it is to get the r5 catch, it only took me a couple weeks after it came out in just single player cause no one else had fish

My luck with that event was bad
The hard bit of maxing the catch is the purple fish which only spawn 1 set per cycle so the event didn't really help there

I didn't really have an issue with farming. It was oddly relaxing for me. A bonus was going to other people's worlds and socializing.
I am able to get 140-150k burst dmg with R5 catch(C0 Raiden) usually with all resolve stacks, bennett buff and vv shred. It's pretty good.

F2P me grinded my back and eyes for 3 consecutive days from coop to coop to max this weapon. A really worthy investment it's a great weapon

Also the difference between PJWS and R5 catch is about 5%

I actually r5'd this thing in the last two days of summer vacation xd, never spent so much time on genshin in such a short timespan
I get the catch r5 in a day it took me like 4-5 hours I recommend co oping with people and asking them if it’s okay then going to the marked places quickly. It was kinda fun to co op a lot cuz I like Genshin people🥰
Then there are people who maxes out all the shops before the fishing event even started
(To be clear I only maxed them on day 4 of the event so I'm not one of those mad lads)

farmed this earlier, got to r1 within a day, those rusty khois are still a nightmare, keeps running away from me

I r5 my catch last week because it's one of the few meaningful content to do right now.
i got r5 the catch the first week and was honestly mad ab the fish respawning the whole time LOL
I did it all (obtain and r5) in yesterday (Saturday) just go into online worlds and ask if it's ok for you to fish, and go to the same 2-3 spots. Mine is only lv80 because I'm not ar45 but it really fun on Xiangling!
I got it within around 6 hours to r5 and the catch itself, and left dozens of players’ worlds extinct from fish, worth it
im gonna save until a kazooha rerun. might be able to get him and his weapon
It took me 2 days to get The Catch and refined it to 5. It all thanks to people who lend me their fishing grounds.
my friend got an R5 catch on mobile, and he's not even that surprised
The catch actually doesn’t take too long if you mark the locations and spend a couple minutes every three days

My anxious ahh refused to coop so I painstakingly fished through out weeks😭I learned a few stuff like if u caught the fish in daytime,u can switch it to nighttime for more of the fish u need and vice versa. And sometimes when u catch a for example pufferfish, there is a chance the pond will generate a new pufferfish or other fish so it might be worth to catch all the fish if u the patience. Oh and btw when I did r5 the catch,I realized my skyward spine WAS ALREADY GOOD ENOUGH😭all those weeks of dedication just to go to a xiangling. There was a single good thing tho which was that I was able to lvl 90 the catch with no farming which was AMAZING best W all week.
i think people overblow how hard it is to get the r5 catch, it only took me a couple weeks after it came out in just single player cause no one else had fish
I maxed the Catch in the first week for Raiden… I lost like 6 Friends and was way to burnt out that time to even play anymore… I’m back tho 🙂
