Lack of infrastructure and cost of groceries are what shocked me the most.
We bought a regular size of mayo and mustard. The Mayonnaise was double the cost of what it is in the mainland and mustard was quadrupled the price. It’s very expensive to live here.

Roatan a paradise wasted by the government and politicians of Honduras, and to expensive to the average Honduras local people
