I like to revisit it every once in a while, close my eyes and just reflect on my life and imagine my future. Just like I wouldn't want to watch my favourite movie too often, I want to savor a song like this and not overplay it. Like you said, it's not just a song, it's a whole experience and a journey.
This song make me think about my grandfather. He played guitar for 50+ years and now he has Parkinson and can't play anymore. He used to be up every morning picking little tunes on his guitar similar to some of the rythyms and picking we hear in this. It moves me to tears constantly. I absolutely love this.
