Really enjoyed watching this! I just love Spillers as a brand, I honestly swear by them! My girl is on the lite and lean balancer and is a heavyweight show cob. Being a native she is a very good doer and since feeding this I've noticed a big change in her weight and her overall energy levels/ways of going. Very informative video :D
The right feed can make a big difference. A feed balancer really helped my non working horse. He developed a top line despite just being in the paddock.

I also feed Spillers, I feed the slow releasing energy cubes but less than the recommended amount so I add a vitamin supplement, Spillers were really helpful when I phoned for advice, they also emailed me a diet plan as my pony has EMS so needs a low sugar/starch diet
Feeding horses is such a science! I have two VERY different horses.... my TB who is 17hh and is NOT a good dooer but has bad joints from racing..... then there is my daughters little Arab/riding pony who gets fat on air 😂 but also gets ridden a lot by my daughter.... I have learnt the best mix of feeds are: - Fibre - Protein - Good Vit and min supplement - Good Fats for oils In Aus we have terrible drought 😳 Hay is $30 a bale and VERY hard to get 😩
I've found beet pulp and lupins has been so good for both my TB and ulcery Arab. The TB needs extra energy so I add barley. The Arab just gets a handful of the beet pulp because he, too, gets so fat on air! Lol

South African feeling your pain we in a drought to bales getting so expensive. We very lucky that we make our own.
