I've been opening a few things to complete the basic set so haven't been disappointed since I need the commons and uncommons. However, no hits in the ETB, Alakazam or Zapdos boxes. Best product for me was the poster collection. Those were just my experiences and someone else might have had amazing products like that. Kind of loving the low hit rates because they actually mean something.
Its nice to see you appreciating the artwork of the common cards. We have to appreciate that pokemon is expensive hobby and the guy/gal in the street who buys pokemon hasnt got the luxury of buying thousands of pounds of cards as they can redeem that money back as being a youtube revenue streamer. Interestingly we bought the alakazam 151 and the zapdos box set, we pulled the special illustration alakazam in the alakazam box, and the special illustration charizard, the top card in the zapdos box. Appreciate all the card artwork, commons, uncommons, rares and if thats all you can afford to get hold of, its all good to look at in your pokemon folders. Well done SneakerTalk TCG, you bring something different to the table which others dont, flippantly opening packets and tossing anything other than a secret rare to one side; you dont do that, you appreciate all the cards.
I’ve opened 2 Zapdos boxes. The 1st I pulled the full Art Zard and the 2nd I pulled the Ivysaur illustration rare,Bulbasaur illustration rare,and the Venusaur ex special illustration rare out of 1 pack.
Man, there seems to be a batching issue with these packs. I got 4 sets, 2 Alakazam and 2 Zapdos. For some reason I only got 2 hits on the Zapdos boxes, but 9 hits on the two Alakazam boxes, one pack had both na Venasour SIR and a regular Venasour EX.
See that's what I was wondering... Are the booster packs in the box not just standard boosters from this series? That being said the booster in the set would have the same chance as a single booster off the shelf to get some rare cards?
Nah Kazam wins it for me. That Mewtwo is just tough to beat. It looks awesome and it’s more powerful then any of the ones that came out of the Zapdos bundle lol
I opened the Alakazam and pulled gold psychic card I was sad because it could have been any other gold card like the mew and I also pulled a ivysaur illustration rare. Pretty decent pulls overall

I got both, decent pulls for me on both. Zapdos packs gave me a ex mew and the kazam got me a full art mr.mime. 151 got me collecting again after 20yrs, so much fun!

Got the Alakazam ex for the promo, pulled only a Jinx ex. Buuuut I was really lucky with my UPC, drawing 2 alt art trainers, 2 alt art pokemon, 2 zapdos ex and 1 golden mew ex
So low hits equals a bad set? I disagree. If the pull rates would have been high then people would have complained that it was too easy to complete and all of the hits would have a lower value. Moreover, low pull rates means when you get something it makes it worthwhile. I opened barely any obsidian flames and got lots of hits including the Charizard ex 215. Enjoying 151 more.

Ordered the Zapdos box before watching this video...wasn't so sure of the Alkazam box but now I deffo want it.
I opened one of each today and got an Alakazam illustrated , pikachu illustrated and a kangaskhan ex.
Ive had great rips from both of these sets.
