Australian Outback to Ningaloo Reef: Bullara Station and Exmouth

In this episode of our Half Lap of Australia, join us-Megan, Stuey, Evelyn, and Thea-as we leave the Pilbara behind and venture into new territory! From the rugged outback of Bullara Station to the pristine paradise of the Ningaloo Reef, this leg of our journey is packed with adventure, relaxation, and unforgettable moments.
Day 30: We set off from Tom Price, but not before encountering a decent (and somewhat terrifying) snake-adding a bit of outback excitement to our morning! Arriving at Bullara Station in the Gascoyne region, we enjoyed scones with jam, explored the kids’ playground, and visited the adorable sheep and calves. Stu's parents took care of the girls so we could indulge in The Table experience at the station-it did not disappoint!
Day 31: Before leaving Bullara, we couldn't miss the iconic donkey showers! Then it was off to Exmouth, where we grabbed lunch at The Beach Shack at Bundegi Beach, followed by a relaxing afternoon at Town Beach.
Day 32: We had a morning service for the car, so the girls had fun at the Ningaloo Aquarium & Discovery Centre, creating their own digital fish, followed by a treat at Mutts Café. Stu wasn't feeling great, so we spent the rest of the day relaxing by the pool.
Day 33: This was a day to remember! We hopped on a semi-submerged submarine to explore the breathtaking Ningaloo Reef, followed by snorkeling, where Evelyn stayed calm and absolutely nailed the experience. After lunch at Mangrove Bay, Stu and Thea headed to snorkel at Oyster Stacks. We wrapped up the day with dinner and live music at Whalebone Brewing Co.-the ginger beer was top-notch!
Next Episode: We continue to soak up the beauty of the Ningaloo Coast, spending time at more incredible beaches and having a "whale" of a time! 🐋
