Although I prefer lighter cables for my everyday carry, this is the type of cable I'd get if I wanted to sit down with some really good IEMs and just chill for a while, because the weight of the cable should make it comfy without feeling like the cable is trying to rip the IEMs out of your ears. It reminds of a similar 16 core MMCX cable from KBEAR that I got for my Koss headphones and they match that sort of "shut up and lemme chill" vibe. Been really enjoying what NiceHCK have been putting out in this budget price range. If you don't mind me suggesting a possible future review, the NiceHCK SP4 is the cable I'm currently using and I'd love to hear your thoughts on it, since I'm just loving this cable - USB-C connector with a 32bit DAC, a FreeDSP style mic that sounds really good and extremely solid construction for the same price as the FreeDSP (and sometimes cheaper on AliExpress). Keep up the awesome work!
he im considering getting the sp4, are there negatives you encountered with it, durability, comfort and how does the dsp effects sound for your iems? im really having a hard time locking it due to the lack of people reviewing it or even talking about it
@@IcyyX_ It's been a couple months since I bought it and I've been using it every single day. The cable is pretty light and soft on the skin. I can wear it under my t-shirts and it works just fine. I also use it at work and at home (roughly 4-5 hours a day) and I don't feel it that much. Whatever DSP it may have, it does not affect the sound quality of the IEMs. The only issue I can point out is that my unit in particular can be a bit finicky while using Android phones. Sometimes, I can tug and pull on the cable and it works, and sometimes I can barely touch it and it disconnects. But I'm not sure if this is an issue with the USB-C port on the cable or maybe an Android software issue. Overall, it's a really nice cable and I'd recommend it.
NiceHCK have some really nice cables. I am loving my my RedAg 4N cable. Got it at $6 on Aliexpress, is it practically a steal judging from the quality of the cable.
Better in terms of the microphone quality? I haven’t tested any mic cables that get significantly better mic quality than the MC1 and MC2. That being said, the MC1/MC2 mics are not spectacular either. Should be fine for basic calls though.
The NiceHCK cables just come in a basic plastic bag, so I usually don’t bother with an unboxing. I haven’t noticed any smell, but I’ll try to remember to check for that. Thanks for the suggestion!
do you have any recommendations for an 8-core that performs similar to this or the zonie for around 20ish or less usd🥲? basically soft and no microphonics. 16 is just a bit too much for my use case 😢
I've just got my first iem. Wan'er Tangzu. Really happy with them. The cable is bad though. And the ear hooks are just too loose for me. They fall out of my ears super easy. You reckon these can help with that? Or any good cables that has good ear hooks in your opinion?
This cable is relatively thick and bulky, especially compared to the included Wan’er cable. If that’s what you’re looking for then yes. Otherwise, try a Zonie, which is good and more medium thickness and weight. Either will be a big improvement. Just make sure you get the right connector type for Wan’er (QDC).
@IEMCableReviews And it's mainly the ear hooks on the wan'er cables that are the problem for me. It just doesn't keep its shape. If that makes sense? It doesn't stay hooked around my ear. And the cable just feels cheap in general.
@simeonemascarpone it is a very cheap and bad cable, but even though that usually is the case with IEMs this cheap, the Wan’er cable is especially poor.
I was close when I guessed the snow series, I mean snow can turn into ice LoL NiceCHK do some nice looking cables especially for the price but when it comes to the type of copper used I find it hard to believe that OCC copper is being used at this price also they normally state if the cable is using Furukawa copper & honestly even then I'm not sure if it is.

Looks real nice. Finally a cable I think I'll buy for my Novas

It's good to see that NiceHCK has these cheap 16 cores cables, not bad.
i like your videos ❤

That’s a great price. I didn’t forget about that one, I have it on the way.
@@IEMCableReviews Perfect! Thank you for still considering it man and thank for your great reviews.
Do you have any recommendations of cables with mics? Currently I am considering the moondrop mc2 but am still trying to find better alternatives

i thought the free dsp has the best mic quality??@@IEMCableReviews
can you add the "unboxing" and a "smell test"? my nicehck bluecat had a heavy plastic smell and took some time to "gas out"

Maybe the Tripowin C8?
I'm using simgot ea500lm. Which occ & ofc cable would you suggest me?
Really any cable you like should work fine.

Can you review the kinera celest sky wing? I haven't been able to found reviews on it.
I believe the same cable comes with the Wyvern Pro IEM. Some of the reviews on RUclips go over the cable and mic, look for the Wyvern Pro reviews.

Yeah I agree, how can you trust that the copper they say they use is actually in the cable?
Looks like a thicker zonie
My thoughts exactly.
What is the best cable under $50 that you have tested?
If you don’t need a mic or modular, it’s really hard not to say Zonie. It’s not my personal favorite, but it’s just really solid overall.
