Now that you have rightly installed both java and Netbeans IDE, you can follow this video for creating a java project with maven in NetBeans ide.
Step 1. First, go to file new click on New Project. Then you will find the Maven option. So click on that. Then select java project then simply finish.
Step 2. You need to give a project name and also a java package name. So simply give that. If you face any difficulty you can follow my video. There I have shown you each and every step very clearly.
Step 3. After creating a new project you need to have an active internet connection right throughout the project creation for downloading packages.
Step 4. Now you will be greeted with a new project and there you can write your java program. You need to save the project before running. And there you go! You have just created your first java project with maven in NetBeans ide! Congratulations.
