Here is my first Rise of the TMNT Movie animatic! I'm so intrigued and curious about how the future turtles lived that I headcanon about a lot of things! This animatic is the result of me thinking about them so much XD
Hope you guys enjoy this animatic. Here is the full story:

The First Stage of Grief: Denial
The passing of Raph left a deep wound on his brothers. Just like Leo and Mikey, Donnie was hurting a lot, too. But, unknown to his brothers, Donnie blamed himself so much about it. Donnie, being the Mr. Fix-It, a genius, always being able to create and make anything, not being able to do anything to "fix" Raph's death, brought him to a great sorrow.
Leo knew that there was a small part inside each of his brothers that blamed themselves for Raph's death (he blamed himself, too). But, Leo didn't know that for Donnie, that part was not small. It was a huge, big one.
One day, Donnie showed Leo the robots of Leo, Raph, and Mikey that he made. Leo knew that there was guilt behind the reason Donnie made those robots. But, Leo didn't know that those robots, especially the robot of Raph, was the manifestation of Donnie's denial.
Unlike his brothers, Donnie didn't move forward even one step after Raph's death. Leo and Mikey somehow were able to move forward albeit slowly (Leo was very slowly). Donnie was still in denial. He couldn't accept that Raph had gone. He was so hurt and he didn't know what to do so he did what he usually did: try to fix it. Donnie thought by making Raph's robot, he would be able to mend his hurtful heart, he could somehow being comforted that Raph... was still there.
Leo didn't know all of that at first. When Donnie showed him Raph's robot, Leo didn't know that Donnie somehow thought of it as Raph, too... Only then when Donnie gave Leo one of Raph robot's arms, when Donnie told Leo to also take care of Raph, that's when Leo realized that Donnie hadn't moved forward even a bit. And Leo was only able to completely understand what Donnie felt that time when Donnie was gone. Leo just... couldn't accept it. It's easier to think Donnie was just going to a far, far country. It's easier than to accept that he had left him forever.

And ah yeah, sorry~ XD The future turtles had me in a mind rot for a couple of weeks months ago, I kept wondering how their lives were (in the bad future).. and the fact that Leo and Mikey lost Donnie and Raph ouch I can't imagine the pain 😭 So I made this as the result of me thinking so much about how sorrowful their lives would be 🥲💔

You just showed that he knew he wouldn't live through, and Leo's hope failing him because he couldn't let go of his twin. Dear titan that was sad. Also this is the first Animatic I've ever seen use 'Someone Lie You'..... or any Adele song rlly lol. You did great. This is amazing.
