That's odd. You may have accidentally turned it off, which I believe you might be able to do by pressing and holding the power button, but I'm not 100% without having a look. It might be worth mentioning it to a local pro who could take a look for you or contacting Bushnell directly/your retailer if you're having no luck
Slope is irrelevant (says the guy with the shotscope Pro lx +) you can't use it in competitions so it's only useful if you can remember the differences after a practice round
Mine randomly stopped jolting when locking on to a pin. Did i accidentally turn this off and or is there a way to reset the range finder?

That is true but it can be a great way to develop your feel for these adjustments in preparation for competition!
