The buildings are still there besides the white one where the woman is selling fish. that's the bank now but not sure if it's same structure, the end is looking out towards mackens pub and the bull ring through the gates of the market.
youngsteph1 No it was not. The imposed sovereign nation went by the title: Great Britain and Ireland. Wexford is not and has never been a part of Britain.
Geographically, it is indeed not Britain, but rather Ireland. However, Britain is often used to refer to the entire United Kingdom (which included Wexford at the time of filming) as a political entity similar to how sometimes England is used to refer to all of Britain or the UK.
the narater mentions poverty .but everyone looks healthy and in good spirits some very well dressed . people walking about .no overweight spoilt children like these days.

Many thanks for adding the film, my dad was born in Wexford in 1911 so very interesting to see how life was in Wexford at his time of life
You can see Eddie Macken in the background locking up the pub, just in case he might have to give out a free drink lol
WOW Fantastic to have video footage so old. Cheers.
Awful times, I'm so glad I live in these decades.
Priceless!

Muy bueno
Thats Ireland not Britain!
Wexford is in the Republic of Ireland which left the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland in 1922, nearly 100 years ago!
It was GB when this was filmed.
