Let me point out one more difference. The RR has brass liners and the Little Riverbend Skinner has stainless steel liners. It's, to me, aesthetically more pleasing. Also, you're comparing our "Little" to the "Large" - there's a full size "Riverbend Skinner" on the way. ;) As always, thanks for the review, JB! - Andy Armstrong
Knowing that Andy is the designer of all 3 I was looking at the same knives and trying to do similar comparisons. It's difficult to see just how different they are from online photos. So much easier to see design differences when you put them all in the same frame like this. Thanks for the comparison!
Okay as far as handles the roadcraft has a nicer more refined handle and five pins it takes a win there. As far as the blade I like the shape of the Rough Rider better, but the rosecraft has a much better Steel. As far as the imperfections on the handle I don't ever notice that if it stays together and it's not ridiculous! I'm not a fan of 440 a. So I would go with the rosecraft. But if you're just doing light cutting you could have two colors for the same price as one rosecraft! That is a hard choice. But I think I would still go with the rosecraft. Yes I've made my choice it would be rosecraft lol! And I might add the rosecraft has a righteous price! And you cannot go wrong with D2 Steel! Thank you for the video JB.
IMO the Rosecraft is a more substantial blade in every way It’s a long standing knife making tradition to take an existing design and improve on it I believe And that’s what Andy seems to have done here Good job
Great comparrison. I remember how fast the black Bow Trapper sold out glad I watched your channel back then so I got one before they were gone. My red Bow Trapper has a little gaping like you said for a $15 knife its okay. Little River is great looking and a different but samish knife I honestly like the Little River more. Great job Andy!
Simular in size and shape, but different in steel, covers and ergo's. The Riverbend is more handfilling to the end, which will give you a secure feeling. Both models are attractive. Thank you for the follow up JB.
Well, I have the original size RR in red. It’s a great knife, one of RR’s rockstars. Thanks for putting all three on the screen, JB. I think the RCB design is better. It looks like the evolved, fine-tuned version of the pattern. Well done, Andy! But will I buy the RCB? Prob not. I appreciate the upgraded materials and the beauty of the thing. I think I’ll be content with the imperfect version, though. It’s good enough. I’m cheap, and there are so many knives I want!

Uh oh....I guess that means I'll be doing another comparison at some point!!👍👍👍
I'm going to have to pick up both the small and large Little Riverbend Skinners 😌
Those liners do look nice. The stainless liners on the Appalachian Jack look fantastic!
Both are beautiful knives! One of my favorite patterns! Very nice 👍
Mine too Mike!

My pleasure Shane! Thanks for taking a look!
Excellent comparison of these knives JB. Thank you
Thank you Mike!
That's a cool evolution of the knife style. Thanks for sharing JB! Well done Andy!
Thank you Tim!
The differences are subtle but easy to see if you take a minute to look.
For sure TD!!
Thanks JB for showing them I appreciate it buddy!!!!!
For sure Pete! Thanks for watching!

Rosecraft just continues to impress with their offerings. So glad you had the comparison available to ya BigRed 👍 Thanks for video 📹
Thanks for watching Marcos!
Well , they do look good together !
Yes they do Dwayne!
Get both. If ever you’ve bought a knife that was too beautiful to scratch or use, here’s your safe queen with her user.
LOL...thanks for watching!
Of the 3 my favorite is the Rough Ryder.
Right on Tom!
Thanks for doing this. Really like the River Bend.
Thanks as always Rusty!
Right on!
Thanks Bama!

Oh yeah...I would have to agree!!
Nice comparison
Thanks Larry!
I love all three of these slip joints but that RCB Little River Bend Skinner is just sweet. Great comparison video JB.
Thanks so much Tim!
Love the RR large Bow Trapper. I have one, it is the main I wanted the Riverbend.
Awesome Daniel!!
Good comparison video JB , thanks for sharing , God bless brother !
Thank you Michael!

Right on David!
Nice comparison. Both are great slip joints for the bottom of the pocket.
Agreed Manny! Thanks for watching!
The Red, White, and...black?
LOL...I had that same thought!
Very cool comparison. There's a lot to like about the Little River bend Skinner for sure. thanks JB
I am digging it for sure! Thanks KC!
That was a great comparison JB. Because of the bone handle and better steel, glad I got the RCB coming.
Hope you enjoy Ken!
Would love to see you do a top five RR video .
I will have to do one!
I enjoyed the comparison video. I hope you'll do more like this in the future. ✌️
Awesome! I will when I can!!
Really cool seeing the comparison, thanks
Thank you Shamus!!
I got the red bow trapper for Christmas and I am in love with it
Awesome!!
I'm diggn the white bone it just looks right on this knife and what a beauty of a blade Thanks for the great comparison video
Thank you very much Rodney! Happy New Year!!
This was a neat comparison, but between the two patterns I'd pick the Rosecraft all day. I just like the shape of it a little more. Cheers, JB!
Right on David!!
RCB is the one for me!!! Thanks for sharing JB
Thank you Grim!
@@BigRedEDC Always welcome
Cool side by side.
Yes sir!

Great compassion video JB, I’m thinking I like the rose craft a little better and the white bone is nice. I know you like the white bone too
Yes I do!! Thanks Jason!!
I like the Little River Bend alittle bit more for materials.
Right on David!
Great content as always brother! What are your thoughts on the utility of the jumped nail nick? I like the way it looks.
It's pretty much just for looks! I like it
What a set!
Not too shabby!!
Good comparison video
Glad you enjoyed it Mike!
The Appalachian Jack has a stop pin in the handle, a few other RR also feature one.
Thanks for watching!
I like the thicker handle on the RCB but on a folding skinner I would want at least 4" blade length
Thanks for checking them out Zeb!
Great video
Thank you very much Kevin!
I like the RR
I do too!!!
