i would start with a high wing prop plane and a tricycle landing gear.... jets are not for beginner pilots. to much lag in throttle response. to easy to tipstall that way.
@@tommieparkman8637 for a firsth plane i still cant recomend to start with a edf style. sure the habu is a great beginner plane if you already have flown a 4channel prop plane. a edf missing the prop airflow over the controll surfaces for take off and slow landings, wich mean a prop plane has better control at critical take off/ landing speeds. I wont argeu you it isnt impossible as a firsth plane, its defently possible. but it is easyer to master with just a prop firsth edf second.
I seen a few videos on the habu already an fpv and they reason I say to try the habu is because it cheaper and it’s a trainer jet and you should also learn on a sim before flying
@@tommieparkman8637 for one habu you can buy 2 other planes, yes a sim is a great help but still 60% off of the real world. by the sound of it you already have youre mind set on the habu and i wont stop you. hope you have a lot of fun with experimenting like i did long time ago. The wisdom i gained over the years came at a cost though and hope to help avoid them for new pilots,. Some of us have not that much to spend. Some kids can fly helicopters firsth flight some will never learn. Wish you the best and hope a lot of fun flights.
Do you have a list of equipment i would need to do FPV on my plane. I own DJI Googles 2 and an O3. I would need all the info for head tracking and source of supply for the equipment. Thx
top o video, esse seu sistema de video, é o dji ocusync? eu tenho um dji goggles raacing edition,e queria co prar um desse ocusync,vc sabe onde vende ?
Hello from France, so nice airclub for you! I would like same here. I'm about to buy the DJI new goggles for my mavicpro 1nd to replace camera on my models planes, could you confirm you are able to have headtraciing with the dji pack ? It could be cool to film your setup 👍❣️
Hello mate, thanks for the comments. I am not sure what DJI goggles version you intend to buy, but the DJI FPV one will not work with Mavic... They are different stuff... The DJI FPV has a separate video transmitter to work with... To manage to make the head tracking to work, is more about setting it up in the radio and not in the goggles. Hope it all make sense
@@guipedroso thank you a lot! You have said something very important and I understand now I've to use the set as sold. So forgot the magic. I'll installed it in a A10 or a tiger moth and come to your very nice airport after that 👍👍 thank you a lot for this big help!

looks awesome what your doing , i'm doing something similar in that, but i want to get airspeed pitot tube style on a large scale plane that i do aerobatics with headtracking, have you tryed getting data like that to your dji's ??? but i am struggling to get the data to my dji googles, closet thing i can come up with maybe using the a FC only need it for the telemetry, do you think i can just hook up the FC to my airunit and get the data that way ?? i can't use gps as it is slow and not actual airspeed, thanks for your time heres what im doing this is the first video , 3rd flightruclips.net/video/SyYdRhSdjzE/видео.html

Nice
Hi great video! Please share the connection scheme of dji fpv system ...
Can you make a tutorial on how to build this? Trying to transition from drones and this would be great

I recommend doing it to a habu trainer jet that’s what I’m about to do to mines if it’s your first time flying planes

Is that a tail mounted camera (on the Breitling jet) on a super smooth gimbal or some kind of digital cam that stays level?

I only fly fpv, and now I want my first jet... I think this is it, but worry if I have enough runway,, how much needed for take off and land? Thanks
If it could do extreme long range
What paint did you use? How did you get the paint to apply so smoothly to foam? Thanks!
Rustoleum spray. You have to use filler sand, primer sand until you get smooth surface
@@guipedroso What filler do you use? And thanks!
