LAMO Love throwing a wrench in the mix! He is still with us and still quite popular. Big reason he is popular is him being a goat from the SoundCloud era and this song of course and how often do you see a young kid in a durag singing R&B?! This song has a lot of different deep meanings pertaining to heartbreak and the yearning for affection. When he talks about ending his life, he has said he is just trying to convey the deep pain from a breakup but was never actually suicidal. He goes by Corbin now because he thought Spooky Black was a dumb name. Thanks for the look Fam, I'll be back with some more hidden gems!

Spooky Black who is now known as Corbin is as old as Bones when they started this. Bones and him did music together and Greaf, the producer of this song is one of Bones producer and part if Team SESH. You should definitely listen to more Corbin.

Spooky black walked so all these others artists after him could run. this era was all about bringing pain back into music via artists like Spooky and bones. spooky black had a good following on sound cloud and was one of the firsts to use this vhs throwback format. as well as bones and as well $uicideboy$ and others years later. Grief the producer had a key roll in this era of music. Bones and Spooky Black have a track together titled IfYouHadAZuneIHateYou which was also a fan favorite and a staple for the underground soundcloud scene. Artists like him helped pave a way for the rest to come. Its 2024 and this is still artistically great. When this dropped years ago it shook everyone with its creepy yet compelling vibe. Spooky Black talked in ways relatable to his audience. it was also not so easy to get more info back then so its mysterious aspects really left fans wanting to no more and anticipating new tracks.
This channel is a fucking gem yous really are playing some underground classics out here. Also the vibe between you two is fantastic.

Aye, think this was my recommendation at some point too, glad y'all checked it out, know it's quite a bit gloomier than the other stuff but man's a legend, Spooky Black. He goes by Corbin now and he's just as elusive as he was back then. Luckily he's still with us and hope he cooks up some new music soon. His more recent stuff is still sad, but not quite to this extent. This one is one of his more chill or relaxing songs, whereas some others go deep and dark into that depression. He's sung about similar subjects as Peep before so I can see that connection. He actually has a song with Bones from the good 'ol Soundcloud days called "IfYouHadAZuneIHateYou - Bones (ft. Spooky Black)" which is one of my other favorites. He's definitely built a cult following over all these years. I like your guys' interaction and interpretation and genuine concern.
