You could see Victoria looked jealous back in the days of Ariana because the whole cast was praising Ariana over her who was the main character of their show. She was literally the only one saying more than once "We all sing" "it's an even tie between all of us" when asked who sings more between takes whereas everyone else was saying Ariana. Also I imagine she must not have liked to see her singing career fail whereas Ariana was able to make it and become so famous. No one in Victoria's place would have had. So even though they never hated each other and never really had a feud like the fangirls were saying, they also were two divas in "competition", constantly trying to outdo each other, so they were friends when they were together to their other friends but weren't very close. Now as adults they can pretend to be best friends forever supporting each other all they want but to quote Victoria in 2016 "She's not my best friend but at the end of the day I wish her well and I'm happy for her".

I am beyond pissed that these incredibly false rumors put a dent into Victoria's career. I mean she's always been doing great she's even starring in her own Netflix movie that's gonna come out soon but these rumors, shortly after victorious ended, did dent Victoria's image and how Hollywood perceived her and kind of slowed her down a bit. Imagine your career going through a rough patch because the media and fans completely misinterpreted a simple statement that Ariana made, and even after Ariana came out and said she wasn't talking about Victoria people still decided to drag Victoria anyway. She is a kind hearted, passionate, and sweet person. I'm so glad she got back on her feet and is now doing what she loves! She released two incredible songs this year and is starting to get more movie and tv show roles! I hope she gets herself another big break she's still young she can make a comeback! And what's funny about this whole thing is that Victoria and Ariana been friends this whole time behind the scenes lol they probably text each other all the time talking about how ridiculous these rumors are. They may not be BFFs but they're definitely friends and stayed in contact since Victorious ended. Victoria likes and comments on Ariana's IG post all the time saying she loves her music, and Ariana always responds and even posted on her IG story about how she loves Victoria's new songs Treat Myself and Stay! So glad these ladies are mature enough to see past the bullshit the media tries to create.
