Patna is one of the oldest riverine city in the world, it may be as old as Varanasi, it's in Bihar state , Patliputra was the most powerful state from Mahabharata times, it was the capital of Magadha empire the most powerful state of that era, it's also the birth place of Buddhism, Gautam Buddha spend almost 40 years in this state, hai religion spread all over the world from this city Patliputra, during Askoka time it was the biggest empire of that time , Ashoka ruled entire India, present day Pakistan,and Afghanistan, Bangladesh, some parts of Iran. No other emperor in India was able to establish such a big empire. Sikh guru Govind Singh was born here, so it's very sacred for Sikh people, Bodh gaya in Bihar where Buddha achieved enlightenment is also very popular with Buddhists, people from all over the world visit bodh gaya, Bihar is the also the birth place of another religion called Jainism, Mahavira was born in Hajipur just north of Patna , Bihar has a glorious past with world renowned university like Nalanda university, biggest of that time in the world, it was destroyed, burned and looted after the last Buddhist king was killed. Unfortunately Bihar is a poor state and suffering from several issues like floods, poverty, unemployment, students are very bright here, most of IIT engineering toppers and IAS toppers usually come from this state. I hope my city patliputra achieve it's glorious status again some day, also it's politically most active and birth place of democracy.

Litti is made of wheat flour and roasted gram flour........ ingredients in sattu is sattu, salt, carom seed, chopped onion, chopped garlic, chopped ginger,lemon juice, green chilli and salt.......mix them with sattu and filled in a small piece of wheat flour dough.....after this u can bake it or fry it in mustard oil till golden brown on medium heat..........u can eat this with tomato chutney.....boil the tomato and peel it.....mix chopped onion green chilli coriander leaves salt and mustard oil a little bit mix them together and enjoy with litti....... Hope you can understand what I am saying

Baati = Litti but difference is that sattu masala is filled inside that is real taste inside in hard crunchy roasted Litti.
It is mixed with Ghee and the chokha is made of roasted potatoes,tomato, brinjal. And the masala is also used as roast.
It is favourate dish in all where in village and cities in bihar and east UP. "Famous"

कोयले के आग में भुना जाता है थोरी किरिस्पी हो जाने के बाद देशी घी में डालकेर निकाल कर परोसा जाता है
चोखा - बैगन ओर आलू टमाटर को आग में डालकर तब तक पकाया जाता है तब तक जल का सुगम ना आए वैगन का ओर ओईल आलू के साथ मिलाया जाता hai

Litti me sattu ko bhar k usko aag me pakate hain
Aur chatni brinjal ki bnti h usko paka h aur v taste k liye usme ingredients mix krte h.
Ham patna wale hai sabka dil se welcome karte hai apne sahar me aaplog bhi aaye ghumne yaha par kafi beautiful city hai aur yaha ke admi bahut achhe h
You can also make Litti Chokha...very easily
Litti- it is a small ball of wheat flour stuffed with Sattu(grinded roasted chana)alongwith ghee, green chilli, garlic, and pickle masala. Litti should be dipped in desi ghee.
Chokha- messed potato, baked tomato and baked Brinjal. Mix all these.
Eat n enjoy.
