I believe him. I don’t even use sonar or have the trolling motor capabilities or cast as good and i regularly get 20 bass in a full day of fishing. I don’t get why this is hard to believe a pro can get 40 easy idk

Thanks Randy! Great technique- I’ll give it a try. Do you tie a loop knot because when the bait falls it spirals down to the bottom and twists my line. I also think the smallest version has the best tail action but that is just swimming it back IMO

Your Fish the moment lake breakdowns do not have a single New Mexico lake. We have great trout waters here, every species of trout in our rivers.

Was using the dark sleeper on steep rip rap banks, wasn’t getting bit until I started ripping it. Summer time, 3ft of visibility. Went from zero bites to catching good ones.
That many bass everyday for 2 months ?? Stop it.
If you can catch that many fish every day, then you should win every tournament, period.

@@DennisMorgan-ls8scMegabass 110 and 110+1 are by far the most effective jerkbaits of all time. Every new jerkbait released in recent years has either used the same naked frame as them or were built so similar the differences are almost nonexistent. Even down to the eyeballs… megabass jerkbaits and soft swim baits are about the only things i agree with Randy on.

Megabass swimbaits are superior!!! Especially the 3 inch hazedong shad!
its not about numbers, its about the largest 5. fish a few tournaments, bring your zebco 33, or 202, and you MIGHT understand!
Its always attached to one of my rods ....definitely a favorite lure...i mostly catch walleye and small mouth

Lost the tail the second cast I had that thing. It’s not cost effective. ALSO how are you catching that many bass when you are always telling us the fishing sucks these days. 20-40 bass a day is awesome fishing!!!!

You guys just want to bitch and moan about everything Randy talks about. Why do you continue to watch unless criticizing is what you like to do. The title says July and August and those months aren't here yet, also he did not claim the lure would catch the size it would take to win tournaments. Now why don't you guys go and crtitcize someone else?

a bass biology video would be awesome. i was just talking about bass’s core temp with my buddy and why they’re so hard to catch when it’s so hot out. i mentioned that a bass’s core temp couod be anywhere from 55-70 degrees, but i do not know if i’m right. i would love to hear blauket talk about it

I wish i could get to 40 fish without the harness fully ripping out of the bait, any tips to prevent that?
Try head cement for fly tying?
I use it over the eyes that kept popping off
@@R-angler i used super glue over the nose, but yeah I might try that
@@cloutmaster965 yeah i saw a video for some tips for the sleeper , eyes almost always come out so using that is recommended
@@kduran744 problem is the eyes are the least important part, the hook harness rips out through the nose consistently in the dark sleeper and u can only super glue it back together so many times before there is no plastic left to glue.
