I don't know if i'm missing it, but I have a weekly recurring Wednesday 7:30 meeting. If someone schedules a different event at 7:30 It removes my recurring 730 metting time on Wednesday. How can I allow someone to book other available events on Wed at 7:30 and not prevent them from booking my recurring Wednesdays at 7:30.
Sorry I'm a little confused. The recurring meeting is set up directly in your calendar, right? Not Calendly? Normally if someone books a time via Calendly, that time can't be booked again.
This is awesome thank you. Around 10.20 you mention about Calendly cancelling the appointment on someone else's Google calendar. Are you referring to work colleagues or work teams? I am unsure if someone would allow access to their personal calendar - can you please clarify. Thank you!
For Zapier, can the zaps be for programs that aren't integrated normally with Calendly? Like if I wanted a client to get added to say Honeybook when they book me, is that possible, or is it only possible for things that are normally integrated with Calendly, like Hubspot?
Great info! I'm curious if it's possible for me to add events not created in Calendly, so the workflows affect the meeting. Like, if an existing client books me by phone, could I add them to calendly so they received the automated workflow reminders, etc?
Hi Paul, great video and I'm already using the tips. One thing I struggle with is when a client signs up with me its for a set of 4 meetings. When they book the first session in calendly I then have to manually book the rest for them (or its a lot of admin for them). Would Zapier be able to set up recurring meetings in calendly?
With husband and wife clients can I send an appointment invite where either one chooses a time slot and the other is notified of their choice and is also able to then change the selection if it does not work for them, with an updated selection notice then going out to the other spouse, etc.?
Not with Calendly I'm afraid. There is an option to input additional attendees when the husband or wife books the call. But the original person who made the booking would need to change it.
Is there a way to setup reoccurring events? I can't seem to find that anywhere. I want to be able to, so that everyone on my group calls gets the workflow reminder emails before each meeting, but so that I don't need to schedule a new event each month. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
I'm curious about in-person meetings. Does Calendly block off time to allow for travel based on the location of the meeting and the location of one's company? So, if I have to drive an hour to meet a client, and they have booked it through Calendly, will Calendly know to block off an hour before and after the meeting, as well as the meeting time?
Hi Paul, thank you for the tips! Can access be assigned to manage a managers account without incurring additional costs. For example: we have maxed the number of users from the plan however I'm managing my managers time and he wont be using Calendly - is this possible or I have to be a member?
Paul, I see your $50 priority call. How do you set that up ... do people pay when they make the booking? Which payment options are available? (merchant accounts/credit cards, venmo, cash app, zelle, etc. )
@@minor-co A calender url you can subscribe on. More specific, for my company we're using a scheduler for our events. In case our clients want to book new events, we need to be sure that there is no conflict in the agenda. That is exactly what Calendly is doing, however, the output of our scheduler is an url you can subscribe on (not a Google calender, exchange calender whatsoever).
Hey there. Thanks for video, great work. Any chances for calendly to book two kinds of clients for the same event? We organise circles, calls where one client present his project ($x) and other member of the call give feedback ($y). The two kind of member do not have the same price to pay. Thanks
Hey Paul, thank you for the demo. Can you tell me if there is a section between meetings that i can allow geographical time limits? For example; allowing 30min travel time between bookings? so to keep booking locations within the same zone, say just in the East but allowing at least 30min travel before the next booking is allocated on the hour. IE: Booking at 1pm, appointment is 30min, next location travel is maximum 30min away, next booking is at 2pm. does that make sense?

@@minor-co thank you, I am afraid too. Healthy and intelligent mind don't like to follow this kind of blind step by step process, or zebra crossing for sheep
Hi Paul, I'm utilizing Calendly to schedule shoemaking classes for my students. Some courses extend beyond a single session. Is it possible for a student to book a course and then choose three different times for each session?
Do you have a suggestion for when we need to manually schedule a specific event type but the criteria for the event type limits it from being scheduled (ie so many days away, time between meetings, etc). I know I could do this for a one-off meeting, but we would like the same event description, reminders, etc. Short of duplicating the event type and hiding it from the public calendar, I can't think of another way to do it.
Can you do a video that ADDS a link for a client to ADD TO the CALENDAR the scheduled meeting? So, they schedule a meeting, I have workflow to send confirmation email and text. How can they ADD TO CALENDAR?
Hey Paul, I've been using Calendly for a few years now but but we really want to add a location to each availability as each appointment is in a different location. What's the easiest way to do this?
One option is you can create different event types for different locations that you use. There also options to ask the invitee where to meet or you can use a custom option. Hope this helps!
Have you found a way to offer a discount code when someone is booking? I’m a photographer and would like to set up a discount code that people can use when booking a photoshoot. Thanks.
I'm afraid Calendly doesn't have this functionality. It may be better to look at an ecommerce platform that has some kind of booking functionality instead
The check for conflicts page looks different now. It just has my email with a check box next to it. But this is the feature I need. I want as many people to book on the same time slot as possible. I have multiple people ready to go to meet with a client and don't need a singular time slot for every person. I want no conflicts, if 100 people want 8am then 100 people should be able to pick 8am. For some reason that menu has changed. I'm about ready to toss calendly out the window and get a refund, paid for a service that pretty much does nothing of what I need, someone please help with this simple fix. What a muddled useless mess it's been so far. The other thing I'd like without paying yet again is to have confirmations sent to 3 emails as opposed to just one. Any hints or tips?
Hi Brian, when Calendly books an appointment that slot is going to be taken on your calendar. Preventing conflicts wouldn't get around this issue. In order to allow multiple people to book the same slot for anyone on your team, you need to set up your team with their own accounts so Calendly can connect to each of their calendars. Or have I misunderstood?
@@minor-co No I think you nailed it. It looks like that functionality is gated behind a higher paid Group tier plan. Which is odd, it seems like a simple option to allow multiple people to book the same time slot. I think we're going to shift away from Calendly and use a different service. Too many simple options that we need are included in plans we wouldn't use 99% of the features for, like the group plan. Which makes sense on their end for money, if I could let 100 people book 8am and simply assign it to each of my crew it would negate anyone needing the tiered plans. But the business model isn't matching customer needs so we're searching elsewhere. We don't have any more money lol. Certainly not the thousands of dollars a year it would be to add as many people as we have.
It depends on why you're getting them to book. For example, when booking an intro call to learn about my consulting options, I have a question where they can describe what kind of help they need. As a minimum you should ask what the call is about.
@@minor-co Thank you. For a general consulting call I included what services they are needing, an estimate of hours needed and budget. If they cannot afford my services than I dont want to talk to them
I'm afraid that's not an option. But with Calendly's new routing questions, you could probably use this to only have people book if they meet certain criteria.
I set up an automation so if they miss the call I trigger an automated follow up. But to do this does require Zapier. You could also use a workflow in Calendly to trigger a follow up I believe.

You need to be on a paid Calendly plan but you can simply turn this on for an individual event type. You can accept Stripe or Paypal.

I generally do one reminder 24 hours before. When I wasn't doing this, the number of 'no shows' I would get for meetings was quite high.
