Wow, all these comments from people who travel to Vegas alone have inspired me. I have been wanting to go for over a year, but have no one who wants to go. Time to book that solo trip! Thank you everyone!
If you haven’t done it yet do it!!! My first time I went with a giant group and it was kind of a drag. Second time I went solo and I got to do way more than I expected. Pretty sure I walked from the Luxor to Caesar’s Palace multiple times.
Norma. I'm a 68 year old female and I walk around Vegas by myself. My son lives nearby, but I stay on the strip when I visit. It's actually liberating to do Vegas alone. I love to play poker so that is my "socializing" part of my day. I love that I can sleep as late as I want, eat when I want and not be tied to schedules and hunger of others. I learned a long time ago that its better to be in NO relationship than a bad relationship. Relationships will come and go, but great friends last a lifetime. Just because someone is alone, doesn't mean they are lonely. Keep doing what you're doing. You absolutely rock!!!
I love going alone!! Best feeling ever. I love the freedom of doing whatever I want & taking my time doing things. You never have to wait on anyone! ☺️
I'm headed back to Vegas on Sunday for my fourth solo visit in the last 12 months. I've been with groups before and have had a blast, but my solo visits have been absolutely great. No compromising on where to stay or where to eat. No worrying about travel companions gambling their entire trip budget in the first hour they are there. Just relax and do what I want to do as I want to do it.
Rev. 17:9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. We must get the value of MOUNTAINS and add SEVEN to get the city number. Once we have the city number, we match the number to a city name. MOUNTAINS = 13+15+21+14+20+1+9+14+19 = 126 SEVEN MOUNTAINS = 7 + 126 = 133 LAS VEGAS NEVADA = 12+1+19 + 22+5+7+1+19 + 14+5+22+1+4+1 = 133 Simple English Gematria A=1---Z=26 value of the seven mountains that surround Las Vegas Nevada. They need to equal to 133. Frenchman Mountain Fault; Whitney Mesa Fault; Cashman Fault; Valley View Fault; Decatur Fault; Eglington Fault; West Charleston Fault = 6+18+5+14+3+8+13+1+14 + 13+15+21+14+20+1+9+14 + 6+1+21+12+20 + 23+8+9+20+14+5+25 + 13+5+19+1 + 6+1+21+12+20 + 3+1+19+8+13+1+14 + 6+1+21+12+20 + 22+1+12+12+5+25 + 22+9+5+23 + 6+1+21+12+20 + 4+5+3+1+20+21+18 + 6+1+21+12+20 + 5+7+12+9+14+7+20+15+14 + 6+1+21+12+20 + 23+5+19+20 + 3+8+1+18+12+5+19+20+15+14 + 6+1+21+12+20 = 1303. The number 1303 is 133 because 0 isn’t a number just a place holder. LAS VEGAS NEVADA is that GREAT CITY BABYLON that GOD destroys.
Normally I would recommend Freemont street for solo adventures but the high temp yesterday was 111F so an indoor choice would be a safer bet this weekend. Enjoy your stay.
I did a solo trip to Vegas for my birthday last year and it was SPECTACULAR. I tried to schedule another solo to Vegas this year but my family crashed my plans! Another benefit of solo travel in Vegas is snagging single seats at mostly sold-out shows.
I did a solo trip for my 30th birthday a couple years ago. The drive out from California was amazing. Put up a few podcasts, didn’t stop until Primm to refuel, made it to LV and spent 3 days on my own schedule with no obligations except which meal to splurge on each night. The freedom in doing such a thing was great
I went to Denver Colorado on my own and loved it! I also wanna do the same with vegas too however I’m slightly sceptical due to vegas being a place for groupz
Norma, maybe you should try 8 East on the 2d flr of Circa. Kinda pricey but they're lamb lollipops (2) I think are very good. Was by myself for my birthday this past December, cost me around $70.00 with a double order of the lamb and several other small dishes.
Since I'm a widow I often come to Vegas by myself. I have a Hilton timeshare so it's easy to drive up from CA. The drive is peaceful thru the desert. I stay a week at a time. I see my favorite places and I can come and go as I want. And people watching is fun.
I went to LV for the first time alone over Easter weekend and Norma’s videos helped me plan my trip. I also recommend getting out into the desert - I rented a car for a couple of days and saw Seven Magic Moutains, Red Rock Canyon, the Neon Museum and Henderson. I love traveling alone and Norma’s advice is spot-on. I also find that servers/bartenders are super sweet if you’re alone and take great care of you, so be kind and tip generously. Take the leap and do it!
80% of my Vegas trips are solo and I LOVE it! Do what you want when you want. And I've been to Vegas so often now that I've made a lot of friends there. So I'm never alone if I don't want to be!
@@HereBeBarr in USA people are not judging other people as much as European people do so in my own experience it’s much easier there and always a pleasure for me !
This video makes me feel so much better about solo trips. I took my very first solo vegas trip last month and I had an absolute blast compared to when i go with a group. After having a long very rough 7 months it’s definitely what i needed to get my mind off things. Looking forward to more solo trips 🍻✈️
Congratulations. Me too. People I know told me I was weird for going alone but I had a blast being there alone. I drove from California and it took me 5 hours to get there because I was sight seeing. I got to see zyzzyx road, the 7 mountains, the bottle museum. Ate a Peggie sues diner. Visited the largest gas station. I got to see the blue man group front row. I always wanted to see them but no one I know wanted to. I rode the rollercoasters. It was fun. I can't wait to travel alone again. It's good to overcome some anxiety of being alone. I'm aiming for Abu Dhabi next wish me luck
Nice to hear that some solo travlers found it helpfull. I found it very weird- I would never recommend solo travelers to drink alkohol on the first go around solo in new place. I travel alone a lot bc I don't like to party like my friends. I don't want to socialize. I want to explore and take my time. Perhaps I read to much into it, but when someone says.. you don't need to feel sad alone, u can do what you want, I hear that they think solo travels means lonely/sad. I do appreciate the safety advice from locals but I would like if solo travel was respected more as an active choice.
I come to Vegas solo often. I absolutely love it. I can wake up at 10am for breakfast then get myself a daybed at the pool then go to some crazy dinner and a show at night.. And repeat it the next day.. And not worry about someone elses budget or schedule. I also usually meet some great people on my travels who become friends. Coming out this end of June and cant wait!!
Ahhh I’m so glad I met you on my solo trip! I’m the guy that had Vegas shirt in the sega font 😄 I come alone for the past few years to play cards and just enjoy the food and scenery. I was glad I got a photo with you Norma. You and your camera man are such cool people!
I've never been to Vegas... I'm going by myself in a week. Can't wait. These videos make me feel much better about my decision! All my friends think I'm crazy haha.
I’ve been to Vegas about 20 times and I’d say probably half have been solo. It’s great to travel solo because there’s no compromising on what you want to do. The city has so much to do so it’s all on your time and you can just move at your pace. You’ll love it absolutely
I am a solo traveler, on my 7th trip alone to Vegas. A couple of things that is not mentioned in the video: when gambling, it is super easy to socialize with other people at the tables. If it is a table game or poker, or even slots. People are usually very friendly and Pai Gow Poker for example, is especially social with players helping each other, and it is also one of the games with the lowest volatility, making your money last longer. Also, regular poker is super-social, and the only game in the casino where you don`t play against the house. Another tip is watching sport events at a bar or sportsbook. Sit at the bar, and again very easy to socialize with other patrons. Another safety tip; do not accept anything from people on the street, they will usually aggressively demand money from you. If you are female and feel unsafe, find a group or a couple and ask politely if you can stay with them until the aggressor is gone. Also, Vegas is the entertainment capital of the world for a reason. Go see the shows, but also remember, there are countless concerts by the biggest artists/bands in the world, stand-up comedians, magicians etc etc.
The first time I went to Jamaica, I went by myself. I am a firm believer in the notion that the ONLY way to truly "find yourself" and who you are as a person, is to remove yourself from your normal "element" (or comfort zone, if you will), and to be alone when you do it! Being in your 'hood all the time, around the same friends and family, is a you that is nearly completely molded by those elements. I believe that adventuring by yourself is the *best* way to grow ... spiritually _and_ emotionally!
Not Vegas, but my first adult trip was a solo trip to NYC. My first time on a plane and first time doing anything by myself. It was the best experience of my life. I got to do what I wanted to do and I enjoyed every minute of it alone. I’m a shy person and it was intimidating at first, but no matter where you go you’ll find nice people around. I wanted a picture with Tupac at the museum and a girl my age and her mother were there and she offered to take the picture for me because I was struggling lol. When I went to the Statue Of Liberty I looked around and saw a young couple and asked them to take my picture. I needed direction and I looked around and saw a man standing outside smoking and I asked him. Everyone I asked looked nice enough and took the chance to talk to them and they were all friendly. I even befriended a family I kept seeing around the city. Even though I was alone I took chances to start up conversations with people everywhere I went. If I was at a museum I randomly would start a conversation about the art piece, I went to a restaurant solo and talked to the people next to me about suggestions on food, I talked to locals while waiting for the bus and I noticed so many other solo travelers. It was a great experience and being solo is such a great thing if you know what you want to do. You don’t have to wait for others or rush/stay too long at places.
Norma proves that Vegas is perfect for solos as well as groups! I've done Vegas solo a few times, and have had just as memorable experiences as with friends. If anything, it helps me decide what to share with people on my next visit. It can be a bit lonely at times, but like you say, you can do anything you want. But I admit I'm one of those people who has just walked by Carnival Court without trying it. Definitely stopping there next time!
This is exactly what I do on my solo trips to Vegas and I love it. I also love having a day by the pool or a spa day and I almost always see a show in the evening. I think 2 days is perfect for a solo trip - anything longer can get kind of boring unless you have a lot planned.
I'll do 6 days solo. But I do also rent a car for a few days and do little day trips and/or visit friends in the area. The desert outside Vegas is amazing!
Totally agree! A day alone by the pool is awesome! A good book and a couple of frozen cocktails with a pool side lunch. Just did that at Encore last month !
@@George0674 I usually just stay on the strip, without a car, and after a few days, my budget is spent. I can only gamble and indulge so much. One of these days, I'd love to stay for longer and do a day trip to the Grand Canyon or something.
I recently came to Vegas for the first time and I was alone. Had a blast! You’re videos, as well as Pompsie’s, helped me plan my trip. I found going into some bars alone awkward (that could be also due to we’re not used to the ‘sitting at the bar culture’ in the UK). I did tend to eat more at fast food places and Dennys. Already planning a 2023 return!
It's funny you should have a video like this, except with my brother once in a while, I have been to Vegas many times alone! I really haven't been in a relationship for a long time, so it seems normal now! I have never had a problem meeting people, I rather enjoy it! I appreciate all of your videos and have check out a lot of things that you have shown. Some of my favorites are when you and Lydia get together, I can tell your great friends, and you two have so much fun! Love the videos and don't stop!
Another great video! One of my favorite things is to go to Vegas by myself. It's a totally different experience from going with friends. Sometimes it's great to do exactly what you want to do in Vegas, when you want to do it. ;)
I have been to Vegas several times with friends and family but, the last time I went was for work and so I stayed an extra 5 days by myself and it was the most fun I have ever had in Vegas.
I've been going to Vegas solo for 13 years and I just back from Vegas a few days ago. I've learned a lot about myself traveling solo and I now prefer it. You can do what the hell you want when you want. The great thing about Vegas it's so easy to meet people. You have a lot of great advice especially the advice on not getting to drunk.
I go on my solo trip once a year and love it! Pool time, restaurants and shows on my schedule. Also as a female solo traveler I feel safe. Plus coming from the East Coast I can go to bed at 7:00 if I want :) love your video!
My sleep schedule is crazy due to my rotating work schedule so going solo worked well. I could get up at 4am and go gamble without the crowds...it was great.
Ooo Christine good point about the east coast time diff! I’m going for the first time solo in October after I complete my hiking yoga trip to Zion and Bryce! Excited!
Lol I done so many trips alone to Vegas because I’m a poker player …at the beginning I was afraid of the outcome….But Trust me being alone in Vegas is so amazing ..you enjoy every moment every second every minute with yourself 🤝🔥👌
Vegas is the best city to come alone. There's always people everywhere 24/7. You can socialize at the bar and the casino tables. I come alone a few times a year and spent a week there by myself. Don't have to deal with the drama of traveling with someone.
I've gone to the Strip solo many times. Here's my favorite things to do: 1. People Watch - Las Vegas has WORLD CLASS people watching! Its fun to see the variety of folks who come here. 2. Visit the Bellagio Conservatory - It frequently changes and is always fascinating. 3 . Photo-Bomb Tourists Pictures - but not too obnoxiously. They seem to think it's funny and I have fun too. PS I agree - LOVE is the _Best_ show in town.
As always - great video Norma! I actually had to learn to have fun by myself when I was traveling for work. When I let go of being so comcerned with what other people migjt think - I really started to enjoy myself. I had several conferences in Vegas and had great dinners by myself. Caught a cab ride to a show and met a lovely couple headed that way too - we shared a cab ride to the show. I even went to a male strip show by myself - because why not!? I met so many interesting people while eating by myself too. During one of my recent trips my bf had a late work meeting so I ended up going to see the jabbawockeez by myself and had so much fun! Really - these were some of the most fun times I remember having by myself.
After the age of 35 most no longer care of what other people think of them especially if your doing things all by yourself like dining, watching a movie or even on vacation!! 🙂🙃
I travel alot by myself outside the US but not as much within the US. However, I went to Vegas solo last year and had a blast! I did a photo tour of the strip (by Lydia from @lasvegasphototour, who I think I found in one of your videos before my trip), walked around Fremont St listening to the live music at night, hung out at the pool bar in the hotel and chatted with people (one of whom I ended up going to ride some stuff on top of the Strat with one evening), went to a Cirque show, went to a concert (Harry Styles, the main reason for the trip), bought a city pass that had included entry to several attractions that I did (such as: the NYNY roller coaster, Real Bodies at Bally, Hunger Games exhibit and the Atomic museum), spent a half-day at AREA15, rented a car and drove to 7 magic mountains and then up to Utah and back. It was a fabulous 6 day trip for my birthday!
I was so glad to hear the part about "Love". I'm a huge Beatles' fan and had been wanting to see "Love" ever since it came out. I went to Vegas for the first time back in February and took my wife and daughter. My 15 year old daughter and I loved it to death. We both had chills and tears throughout the show. Also, I started watching your videos when I was researching what to do in Vegas for the trip I took in February. Even though I am probably not going to be able to come visit Vegas again anytime soon I still enjoy watching your videos every week.
Hi Norma! I always go to Vegas alone; 2-3 times per year. I stay at a 5-star resort on the strip, where I get to be treated like royalty. The resort has a very nice restaurant, on the casino floor. If you want to try something, most time it can be prepared. The ice cream "center" is by the gondolas; subtle hint, for the finest Italian ice cream. Solo travelers will be extremely happy with what the resort offers. Safe travels!
It's so refreshing to see such charisma and genuine happiness. It's a true pleasure watching your videos and being able to appreciate your disposition. I've recently moved here and find them highly informative and entertaining. Thank you so much.
Over this past Memorial Day weekend was my first time going solo. Had the best time ever! No compromises on where to go, what to eat or what to do! Did everything I wanted & can’t wait to do it again.. On my own!😁
Your advise was "spot on"!! Almost all of the time I visit Las Vegas I do so alone. I eat where I want, stay where I want, visit the places I desire to see and I am very comfortable without a traveling companion. Norma, you create the best and informative Las Vegas videos. Keep up the great work and success will continue to be yours. 100,000 subscribers soon will be a reality and you deserve it!!!
This might be my favorite vlog so far. I travel solo all the time. Counter or bar dining at great restaurants is a fun experience for me. Getting a table though is very relaxing and seems more civilized.
Solo travel is great - once you get used to it after your first trip, it's such a great feeling to do whatever you want whenever you want! And for every person that is "feeling sorry" for you there are 5 people who would be a little jealous that you can take a genuine "vacation" from your regular life. Oh - and I'm in Vegas now going solo - it's great.
Ive gone to vegas a bunch of times by myself. i love the freedom to do whatever without having to coordinate with a bunch of people. based on this video i need to drink more :P
I love that you did a video on this topic! I have travelled to 13 countries alone starting in my 20’s. Why not check out Vegas the same way?! If you are thinking about traveling solo, I recommend to research general safety tips and safety tips for the specific place you are visiting. Arming yourself with knowledge is one the best things you can do! Get out there and live life!
im headed to vegas on the 20th nov......stay til thanksgiving and fly back.....great thing about this vacation? dont have to attend SEMA show. Now I get to pig out on buffets and eat to my hearts content!!!
Normieee girl! Hola! Your content is always, ALWAYS great. Very informative and educational. It’s not only about splurging and having fun at Vegas but also you try to empower the tourists thru your advices. Such a classy vlog with a heart. We hope to See you when we get there on hubby’s bday on July!
I just got back from a solo trip to Vegas. It's the perfect city for it. If you want to see a show, it's easier to find the best seats if you're going solo. Also I'm shocked, SHOCKED~~! that someone spoke to Norma while she was sitting alone at a bar. 😆
Loved this video Norma. Right before the pandemic I took a solo four-day trip, stayed at Park MGM, saw Aerosmith in concert, the Neon Museum, the Lady Gaga exhibit, good restaurants, gambled a bit, bought some clothes way off the strip (I'm Canadian so they had different styles and the prices were good too), it was a lot of fun. My adage is it's better to travel on your own than not travelling at all. 🤓🎉
Hey! I’m from Canada as well and planning a birthday trip with my bff in august… and recommendations on cheap food spots near Bally’s hotel? Or even on the strip?
I had a pretty solid solo trip back in June 2021. It's great being able to call all the shots. I do typically prefer to go with family or friends, though.
I’m going to Vegas solo in August so this is the perfect post ! I love traveling alone and for sure I will socialize there 😀 thanks Norma for this nice and funny video!
My best trips to Vegas have been when I've come by myself. I never let the fact that I'm alone stop me from doing what I want, no matter where I am. I've seen Ka, Love and Carrot Top by myself. I've done the helicopter ride and Avengers Station by myself. I've eaten at Hell's Kitchen by myself. I've been to Red Rock Canyon by myself. I get to do what I want to do with no one to tell me no.
I’ve never traveled to Vegas to be alone but I have traveled alone, and I’ve gone to play, drink and eat alone and honestly you don’t feel alone. You will always wanted to somebody that wants to talk and it is such an incredible experience thank you for sharing
Tuesdays and Wednesdays are my usual solo venture days here in Vegas. It's just too chaotic to do anything over the weekend for anxiety ridden locals like myself. I am super elated to find more unique tips for future ventures through this. Nice vid!
I just came across your video, and it was amazing. I was the type of person who waited to be flown out to Vegas. But thanks to you, I know that I can do it by myself and not be embarrassed about it. Thanks for the confidence.
Your safety tips are smart. have traveled solo to Vegas and many other places alone both for business and pleasure. In each instance I am happy. Eat when and where you want, go where you want. Learning to enjoy things alone is critical. One really important tip is when traveling alone you cannot drink too much and don’t tell people you are alone.
Hi Norma. Thanks for this video for us "solo" guys. It's on my bucket list, one more trip to Vegas. If I hit a "jackpot", I may end up staying there. Love the scenery outside of the city. I may be flying Solo and if I meet the love of my life, can get married by Elvis still, right?
better make it quick. Some Elvis chapels are being given cease and desist orders for using his image, likeness and music without authorization or license.
I love traveling solo . It’s very relaxing and there is no drama . I normally come to Vegas solo . Was just there in May will be back in September . Great video 😎😎😎
I'm going to Vegas solo for the first time in like 6 weeks. I want to go to red rock although that might not be the smartest decision in July. I also want to do the mob museum, pinball hall of fame, see the volcano at the mirage, the ethyl m chocolate factory tour. I ate at international smoke last time I was there so looking for a nice restaurant
You'll be fine doing Red Rock Canyon in July they let you in at 6am be there right at opening and that'll give you a few hours to explore without the triple digit heat. I've hiked there 4 times now and it's a must see while in Vegas.
Even if it's too hot to hike, you can still drive around the ring road at Red Rock Canyon and stop at the different parking areas. Well worth it! Even better is Valley Of Fire for sunrise or sunset. Watching the sunrise near Elephant Rock is spectacular. About an hour north of Vegas.
NORMA KEEP UP THAT AWESOME WORK THAT U DO FOR PEOPLE ALL OVER THE WORLD WHEN VISITING LASVEGAS!!!! I GAIN A LOT OF KNOWLEDGE ABOUT LAS VEGAS.IAM A TRANSPLANT LIVING IN VEGAS NOW FOR ABOUT 4 MONTHS NOW AND ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOUR STREAMS,THANK U FOR WHAT U DO AND ALL INFORMATION U PROVIDE. THANKS AGAIN WES 808 .
The great videos keep coming!-Norma, It looks like you’re enjoying your new “crib”!!!!-You’ve worked very hard over the past two years, nice to see you being rewarded.
38F single. I solo to Vegas at least once a year for the past 10 years (except 2020). Here are my tips: 1) Travel mid week (you don't have to fit other people's schedule) and stay at nice, large hotel/casino. Mid week prices are unbeatable. Big hotel/casino offers a lot to do without wandering the Strip alone. Don't skimp on the hotel. At night, I usually stay on property or the immediate neighbor. Also Vegas mid-week is more relaxing. Less crowds, quieter vibes even by the current visitors. 2) Spa time. Best Spa's I have been to are in Las Vegas. Hands down. LA and NYC "day spas" are not even close. Many spa's have spa guest only heated indoor pools (besides jacuzzi's), so you also get away from the busy hotels pools and heat in the summer/cold in the winter. 3) Shows. Best thing to do alone. You can't talk to your neighbor/partner anyways. 4) Go to dinner on the early side 5:30-6:00 and sit at the bar counter (before it fills up). I don't have to make reservations because usually there is an open bar seat at 5:30pm (1st come, 1st serve). Every restaurant I have gone to offers full menu at their bar. 5) Go to bed at a decent time! I tell people I am in bed by 10:30pm on these trips. No clubs/all night stuff. Sleep is good and why I pick the nicer hotels (take advantage of midweek pricing). And the next morning you can beat the crowds to brunch.
You are absolutely right. You never will see these people again. Live your life. Life is short. Enjoy it while you can. Btw. Love watching your videos. Keep up the good work.
I was stuck in Michigan taking care of my dying Mom, and my brother gave me a paid flight to Las Vegas. I loved the shopping. Las Vegas has the best people because so many work in the hospitality industry and they know how to be good to others. Decent bus system too.
Solo trips, especially to Vegas, are amazing! To anyone who has never tried it, try it at least once. I always get a table if possible as not only is it more comfortable, the servers are usually extra nice. I only had one hostess who seemed to think it was odd (kept mentioning me being by myself) but usually they either give all around great service or at the more expensive places, great service with a little extra something compliments of the chef for being a solo guest.
Oh my god Norma we were in Vegas week commencing 6th June until 15th June (group of us who all watch and love your videos), we were at so many of these locations you filmed too, absolutely gutted we missed you and didn't have a chance to thank you in person for these VLOGs.
This was a most interesting video Norma. I really enjoyed your natural personality. This was a true "Spur of the Moment" Video. Much Fun. Lots of Love, James
I’ve been going solo to Las Vegas twice a year for the past 6 years. It’s the only place I know where you can go alone and never feel out of place. I always meet people from everywhere and have a blast. Carnival Court is definitely my go to bar on the strip.
I moved to Vegas Feb 1st after spending 2 or 3 trips to Vegas in 2021 alone (it was planned that way). Now I am a Table Games Dealer at the STRAT for the last 3 months. I go out alone over 90% of the time. I find myself on Fremont on my weekend. The best spot if you like to Casino hop and people watch. Golden Nugget is the go to for the best meal experiences on Fremont, but Circa has some great options as well. Now that I am a Vegas resident I find myself going to the local casinos, all Station, Boyd and of course Jerry's Nugget. Love the videos.
Cute video! I travel and dine out alone all the time and I love it. I use the alone time to read, write, people watch, luxuriate and recharge by just enjoying the moment. For me I choose to avoid alcohol because I like to be as alert as possible in public and to insure I take home crystal clear memories of all the beauty of the trip.
I come every year for the last 8 years by myself. I’m blessed with a wonderful wife that is always on board with it. Every year I get better and better at it. For me… I believe researching places to eat/try and figuring out what you want to do is a must. Make some sort of itinerary that has multiple options. It makes the “what should I do next” decision much easier. Can’t wait for my next trip 🙌🙌🙌🙌
You really do Vegas a solid! Seen Beatles Love 4 times and I literally cry tears of joy each time! It is my favorite for sure. All your content is super genuine and I love your ability to find more great things to tell everyone about your and my favorite city. Solo trips are exactly as you make them, anything can happen if go out and find it! Fun watch ! Luv ya stuff ! Keep killin it!
I love my solo trips to Vegas. It's my time, my plans and no one complaining about how much I spend. I do go 2 or 3 times a year with my family but I try to go at least once a year solo. I wake up when I want to and go to bed when I want to. Vegas is the only city I feel safe doing that.
I go to Vegas solo pretty regularly. I always have a great time! I eat what I want when I want, do whatever I want, relax, party… it’s all my own time. I love it!
Hi Norma, i just thought to convey how much of all of your LV content and advice. Your informative content of which I've taken and added to my planned agenda upon my visit to LV. Yes, I'm one of the solo travelers - especially to LV. Keep up the awesome work. I appreciate you.
I realize that your video making gets better and better the longer you create. But Dang this video was AMAZING. I'm moved to book a flight out for a Solo Birthday Vegas Trip. This is the Ideal Template for am amazing day in LV! Pizza, people watching, Gordon, Cirque, and the Flair Bartenders. Keep it Up!
My best friend passed away 3 months after his 50th birthday. We got to celebrate his 50th at the Carnaval Bar. Thanks for bringing back a great memory.
I've always gone alone.....mostly gone for conventions (used to work at hospitals and helpled the doctors give lectures), but most of the time I was alone, but being a little bit of a extrovert, I can sit at a bar and start a convo with almost anyone, and seems to be a magnet for fun, strange things in Vegas. So I always had a good time, love going to the shows, playing blackjack and poker ( both very socialable games), and always won a little money on the way ( paid for my trip many a time)
I've been to Vegas lots of time solo! And traveled to other places as well with the freedom to do whatever I want. Another great video Norma, this might give many the courage to just do it.
I’ve been coming to Las Vegas by myself for YEARS. I got tired of my travel companions not show up for dinner, shows, etc. on time! I only drink in the hotel I’m staying in and usual only at the end of the evening. I take day tours to all the awesome places Vegas has to offer. I don’t mind eating alone, and the only place I’d ever felt uneasy (once) was on the bus, and I just immediately moved to a different sit. You get to explore so much more being solo! I highly recommend it.
I'm a guy and love being in Las Vegas alone. I'm not too good at socializing, unless I'm playing poker. Bars are very uncomfortable for me - I'm not one of those guys who can flirt with random women. I don't feel I'm anything special and don't have the gift of gab, so I rarely socialize. But I enjoy the freedom of doing anything I want, when I want. There's sooo much to do and see in Vegas, you'll never get bored. Love your videos Norma, and I'm also a Beatles fan (I was actually a kid when the Beatles came into being. I'll have to check out their show - based on your advice!
Wow, all these comments from people who travel to Vegas alone have inspired me. I have been wanting to go for over a year, but have no one who wants to go. Time to book that solo trip! Thank you everyone!
You don’t want a friend around when you get an escort. Bro, it’s going to be epic! Have fun my solo traveler!
Good for you! Being confident and independent rocks!
ok...
Next year if you see a 65 year old black man with gray hair drinking bourbon in a hotel bar, it just might be me!
@@IndyGuy65 haha Love it!

I love going alone!! Best feeling ever. I love the freedom of doing whatever I want & taking my time doing things. You never have to wait on anyone! ☺️
midweek is nice to be by yourself, but weekend is more fun with a friend or friends
yeah i go to vegas alone all the time. it's so fun. i'm always finding new stuff to do.

My favorite part, you ain't gotta deal with anyone's stools lol
And there’s no shortage of company If you wish to find it
I'm headed back to Vegas on Sunday for my fourth solo visit in the last 12 months.
MOUNTAINS = 13+15+21+14+20+1+9+14+19 = 126
SEVEN MOUNTAINS = 7 + 126 = 133
LAS VEGAS NEVADA = 12+1+19 + 22+5+7+1+19 + 14+5+22+1+4+1 = 133
Simple English Gematria A=1---Z=26 value of the seven mountains that surround Las Vegas Nevada.
I agree you can just do what you want!
@@eelyeoj5799 What in the world did you just do? That's a first
Normally I would recommend Freemont street for solo adventures but the high temp yesterday was 111F so an indoor choice would be a safer bet this weekend.
Yeah, I just snagged solo seats in the 6th row center for the Lakers games in October at T-Mobile Arena.
I did a solo trip for my 30th birthday a couple years ago. The drive out from California was amazing. Put up a few podcasts, didn’t stop until Primm to refuel, made it to LV and spent 3 days on my own schedule with no obligations except which meal to splurge on each night. The freedom in doing such a thing was great
One of my best trips to vegas was all by myself i just wandered around and had the time of my life
yep having nobody else to worry about is ALWAYS less stressful and relaxing 🐰💖
I headed back solo in August. Staying at the Resorts World
I went to Denver Colorado on my own and loved it!
@@merlekobashigawa2775 you're not replying to norma rn lol
Since I'm a widow I often come to Vegas by myself. I have a Hilton timeshare so it's easy to drive up from CA. The drive is peaceful thru the desert. I stay a week at a time. I see my favorite places and I can come and go as I want. And people watching is fun.
The cool thing about being solo is you get to do what you want to do at you're own pace & nobody can judge you. Nice day Norma !
and no one being a drag and ruining your fun and expecting you entertain them :-)
sure sounds like one that went thru a divorce or, like me.....plain ol average asian dude thats been single for a while.....but im ok with that!
Is it safe?
I went to LV for the first time alone over Easter weekend and Norma’s videos helped me plan my trip. I also recommend getting out into the desert - I rented a car for a couple of days and saw Seven Magic Moutains, Red Rock Canyon, the Neon Museum and Henderson. I love traveling alone and Norma’s advice is spot-on. I also find that servers/bartenders are super sweet if you’re alone and take great care of you, so be kind and tip generously. Take the leap and do it!
Henderson? lol
Henderson, you really splurged.lol
Solo travel is some of the best alone QUALITY time. I have zero problems traveling alone and you're right, you get to do WHATEVER YOU WANT.
80% of my Vegas trips are solo and I LOVE it! Do what you want when you want. And I've been to Vegas so often now that I've made a lot of friends there. So I'm never alone if I don't want to be!
Hardest thing about solo travel is definitely eating alone at a restaurant… and your advice was spot on 🥳
Why is that hard? I think it's easy.
Thats actually my favorite part! I love a solo dinner date :)
That’s the best part. Eating alone…..peaceful. No forced conversation.
@@emichin7010 I was like what Norma said, concerned about people judging me. Stupid, and she hit the nail on the head.

Same
Congratulations.
You will love it! Norma's tips are great!
I did the same thing from Atlanta. You will have a good time doing what you want!
I’ve been to Vegas about 20 times and I’d say probably half have been solo. It’s great to travel solo because there’s no compromising on what you want to do. The city has so much to do so it’s all on your time and you can just move at your pace. You’ll love it absolutely
Cool! Have fun!
Thanks everyone, I had an absolute blast!! Can't wait to go back
I am a solo traveler, on my 7th trip alone to Vegas.
@@sjl8256 Encore is such a great place to do that. It's so relaxing.
I was there last week solo and first time from Atlanta it's was great! Solo trips are the way.
but you can eat when youre actually hungry
I’m from the East Coast too and I do solo trips to LV myself every year.
Here's my favorite things to do:
I have been to Vegas twice as a solo traveler. Each time exploring, seeing shows and doing excursions off the strip. I had a blast each time.
Perfect timing! I'm headed for my second solo trip to Vegas on the 24th of June. All of your videos have been super helpful! Thanks!

Solo travel is great - once you get used to it after your first trip, it's such a great feeling to do whatever you want whenever you want! And for every person that is "feeling sorry" for you there are 5 people who would be a little jealous that you can take a genuine "vacation" from your regular life.

I'm going to Vegas solo for the first time in like 6 weeks. I want to go to red rock although that might not be the smartest decision in July. I also want to do the mob museum, pinball hall of fame, see the volcano at the mirage, the ethyl m chocolate factory tour. I ate at international smoke last time I was there so looking for a nice restaurant
Yeah, someone else wants to go on the tour at Ethyl M! I also want to take the tasting classes and spend time in the cactus garden.

1) Travel mid week (you don't have to fit other people's schedule) and stay at nice, large hotel/casino.
I love coming to Vegas solo. It’s a blast, so many friendly people and you make friends and get to just relax and have downtime as well.
I always go solo. Very freeing and relaxing. No waiting on other people for anything. When I want to get up and go, I do so!
We all had fun especially Fremont street a lot of fun have a great weekend Norma
I live in Vegas and do it by myself all the time. It’s a great way to be spontaneous and explore without expectation. Go with the flow and enjoy it
I love how you made this AFTER i visited ALONE. I watched your videos for great places and still had a place will be visiting again
I love u enjoying Las Vegas and teaching people to learn fun, or being young again.
I travel solo and love it. Did the party when younger, now it's time to see what else Vegas has 🙂
I come every year for the last 8 years by myself.
