    As long as the development doesn't create a wider gap between the haves and have nots but actually trickles down to some of the less financially wealthy I'm all for the project.

      It never trickles down. That's not how it works. This is gentrification. The fact that they're modeling it after Manhattan tells me everything I need to know.

    mr. Layode very good program, As a nigerian in diaspora looking to retire in Nigeria the Eko atlantic and Luxury villa Group offer some attractive options . What I need to know are a detail view of the accomodations and info. on mortgage financing. mr Tommy Odamma can probably help but it seems like he didnt want to show us the apartments available

    Its a lovely and great project,but you have not told us how you are going to power it with no power project on going and the whole of Nigeria is sharing about 3000MW-4000MW That place will need approximately 3000MW more or less. well its still a great project.

      +Habeeb Sule: you have a point but the Eko Atlanatic is not going to be connected to the Ntaional Grid its going to have its own power generatio, also there is no way on earth its going to consume 3000MW .

    • @lanreolujimi3012
      @lanreolujimi3012 6 лет назад +2

      That is not a problem. Cannan land has been having uninterrupted power supply for many years if they can do it a Eko Atlantic can do the same. Nigeria can generate uninterrupted power supply but the cabals will not allow it.

      How is that your headache, if the churches and mosque can afford the price, what is wrong with that, are people not free to practice their faith or are going to fill the place with goats and cows. Manhattan, New York City is Home to most of the biggest cathedral, likewise major cities of Europe. So, how does that disturb your peace? Are you hoping the 250,000 people that will reside here are godless?

      Elites dream for themselves only and not the rest of nigerians. Money they stole from our treasury is being used to benefit a few. Tinubu and his wicked capitalist cabal are the leading beneficiaries. No good roads in most part of Lagos state. The government does not care. Look at Badagry road, shame of our nation is what it is.

    THAT UNPROFESSIONAL REPORTER IS WHAT IS WRONG WITH NIGERIA. GO THERE AND REPORT ON EKO ATLANTIC BUT HE KEEPS TELLING EVERYONE WHO WILL GIVE HIM AN EAR THAT HE IS COMING TO PICK UP HIS TWO PLOTS OF LAND. IS THAT PART OF THE INTERVIEW OR ARE YOU JUST AN UNPROFESSIONAL PERSON ?

    • @supersampio
      @supersampio 10 лет назад +3

      He made an attempt at humour which you obviously disapprove (I did too), however, making this a crime of a whole nation is quite outrageous, as far as I can see, that's the single low point in whole interview, if there is such a thing called the proportionate use of hyperbole, consider using it next time.

    • @uknowamsaying
      @uknowamsaying 9 лет назад +2

      TOTAL ECLIPSE Shut up! It is refreshing to see a different style of reporting and a reporter that can joke. It is not until we see Westerners do something before we see it as acceptable. The man did his job "Get the message and information across" efficiently and effectively. Not conforming to your known approach is not compulsory.
