It's PS2, sadly japan only, however I've heard that you can use American 1st Gen PS2s with it if you take advantage of its loading flaw. The Slims don't have it. The strongest doesn't exist, it all depends on your own personal style of gameplay and which mech you feel you react best with. Also the controls change between all three significantly. It's for the PS2 and don't buy it. PS2 is REGION LOCKED so you would end up also having to buy a Japanese PS2 if you were to buy this. Even if the PS3 is region free I don't think it plays Japanese PS2 games. But it does play Japanese PS3 games atleast most.
