Ouran was the first anime I've fully watched in my life, when I was 13-ish. I still remember how obsessed I got that I binge watched it 4 or 5 times in a row. Those memories of warm teenage days watching anime will be hold dear in my heart.

His English voice actor was supposed to sing this actually (he was even the one who wrote the English lyrics or at least the short version), but he was sick when the song was supposed to be recorded, so they had Justin Houston instead.

There was a cover of this by a voice actor who was in the show that I used to listen to all the time, constantly, it got me through some really hard times. But since it came out that actor was not a good person, I haven't been able to listen to it again.

Im a lottle shocked ar how well your voice suits rhis song! Im so familiar with both the short english cover and the Japanese full And tour voice was so unexpected! But delightful!! You fit it perfectly and you also kept the stule of the notes. A lot of covers try to do their own thing and sometimes kt works sometimes it doesnt. This was just perfect! The way you started those note changes with the guitar on "those bitter notes are calling" was the perfect place to belt it out then seitch back to rhe sthle the song was originally performed in! Im surprised i havent heard tour cover until now but i love it!
