Honestly, I would pay high dollar for a stripped down, small, intimate, acoustic concert of Erasure’s Hits/singles that are meant to be played slower. Kind of like how A-Ha did their Unplugged set. I don’t always need the theatrics Andy, the touring & having to bring constant energy can wear artists out. Wish I could have a live/acoustic version of “Stay with Me”.
I used to have Much Music here in Brazil circa 2000! I guess it was an Argentinian MM but with lots of great stuff from motherland Canada on that time. I remember Silverchair, Hanson and Alanis apparitions :D
They make their music with a few chords from an acoustic guitar played by Vincent Clark and a few nonsense lyrics sung by Andy and the songs just sort of write themselves, and Vincent Clark puts the chords in his Apple/Mac and tweaks the vocals in the studio. So the bare bones acoustics do tend to sound very melodic.🎶
