Yet another one I haven't heard . I'm glad brief case told me about you
Greetings, Stewart MB.
Hope that you and yours are well Xxx 🙏🏼 ❤️ 🗺️ 🍀 🏴🥂
We do try our best 😉
Me, too!
@@janetcw9808 aye not bad.. have a great weekend
Do not forget about The Crime Reel. The three make a great trilogy of story tellers....
How could a railway company lay off 30,000 people and continue to operate? Questions all around. I wish my dad was still alive, he was in Japan during the occupation and would have been able to explain the situation better. He loved the Japanese people and just tried to help them rebuild.
Yes my dad was there later, he loved Japan and fostered a great love of Japan in all of us . I called him Papasan. There certainly are alot of questions here and no answers at all to speak of.
During what occupation?! The US would have never been involved in WWII if not for Japan’s attempted occupation of Pearl Harbor and the countries of the Pacific.
I haven't heard of this case before. It's very interesting. I'm going to go out on a limb here ad say he was killed by disgruntled employees.
Really enjoying this channel! Another great episode! Thank you!
Your narration is just beautiful, even on sad cases. Great work. Thank you Sir!
Sorry i am later, didn't have internet early in the evening. Really love your work. Thank you. Elke
Detailed w/its handle tied down; we know that was preplanned
This channel is right up there with Buzzfeed Unsolved True Crime. Great content!
That’s insulting lol, no channel is as bad as THAT bad.
SO well done as ever.
Never heard of this case before.
In my ignorance, I did not know that Japan was an occupied country after WW2.
Was the victim driven by a chauffeur?
Why did he need to go to the bank, and what was he after from the department store that was so important? 🤔
In my opinion, he was murdered by angry redundant workers, perhaps they felt betrayed.
I feel very sad for his family.
Thanks for the info research and work.
Good wishes to you, all you love and followers Worldwide Xxx 🙏🏼 ❤️ 🗺️ 🍀 🏴💐🥂
Hi Janet!
Yes occupied by the americans and our allies, which i guess they felt they needed to after pearl harbor. I am so thankful our two countries are allies now! Here is a link that discusses that a bit, if you are interested Janet. Hi there btw! history.state.gov/milestones/1945-1952/japan-reconstruction#:~:text=After%20the%20defeat%20of%20Japan,%2C%20economic%2C%20and%20social%20reforms.
Sorry - what about WWII did you not learn. Do you not know what Japan did to the US or what they thought they could do to the world? Do you not know how many people Japan allowed to be killed before surrendering to the Allies? And now, like Germany, they are friends with the US.
Maybe spend less time on this and more time on mass murders in history. Geez. WTH?
Mr. Shimoyama committed suicide, he entered the department store in such a hast.. I believe his hasty character was because he didn't want to miss the train. A train that he had already planned for his demise. He is the gentleman seen walking along the train tracks, he already picked the area, he didn't want to be seen, and picked a spot where the train would be going at its maximum speed.
As soon as you mentioned, his hasty character.. such in a hurry for what..
like in a hurry to caught a bus or train, and that's when it hit me, no pun intended.
Though he did a good job to introduce this very famous case of Japan, he left out many things.
Awesome! Thanks for the playlist!
Came from billy bat
“Occupied” is a very subjective term. One which if they weren’t, Japan would not currently be an ally of the free world and certainly not one that would be allowed to toss around words like “occupied.”
who came for manga "billy bat"😅
Definitely a rivalry thing 👍
I think he committed suicide as he felt guilty about people losing their jobs.
I don't, I think that he was murdered.
Saying that, I'm no sleuth 🕵️ 😹.
Good wishes.
Someone who wants to commit suicide doesn't do it while they're off doing errands, especially when he had a driver waiting for him.
There are always exceptions, but he doesn't fit that profile for me. He's a corporate type I doubt he felt guilty for any of those ppl imo. Also why by train? Why not shoot himself in his office, or home?
It would be interesting to know what he did while at the bank. Maybe withdrew a sum of cash. Maybe he was a victim of extortion?
@@PoptartParasol And drain their own blood? 🤔
I do not think so but.
Good wishes.
@@janetcw9808 don't understand what you mean
Who’s here because of billy bat manga?
Find out about it while reading manga Ayako..
Damn, the Left can never behave themselves🙄
Great video again Luke - an interesting tale
Interesting as always...btw I like your *?* graphics...THX for the story
Awesome Video as Always💓Thanks So Much! Excellent Work🤘💙
Looking forward to it. I love Japan.
Bright Blessings Lady 🙏🏼🌟.
I'm fascinated with Japan.
I have spent approx 12 + years following Japanese Taiko Drumming.
Played as well when I was fitter.
Wasn't much good at it but had five or six years of joy and friendship 👍🏼❤️.
Tsuchigumo Daiko, great videos and Lovely People.
Blessings Xxx 🙏🏼 ❤️ 🍀 🗺️ 🏴💐🥂
I have had others tell me that the Japanese stories are usually very popular. Pleased to hear you're also a fan 😊
Hi there Ayape!

My great-uncle was over in Japan in 1949 as a US occupational soldier just before he would be sent off to Korea to fight.
Tell Us More!!!
Good wishes 🙏🏼 ❤️ 🍀 🗺️
That sucks
🖖
Interesting 👍
It was the bat...
Where are you from?
I'm from England. Not quite London, but not too far away.
@@UNSOLVABLE I thought so but your accent is a little bit different so I wasn't positive. 😂
Great video per usual
Thanks you 😊
So basically there were over 30000 suspects. It does seem likely that he was killed then his body put on the train tracks.
Can u look into and present the buryatia incident? There are some similarities between the 2 ! Ty! 😘
The Terrific Trio of The Crime Reel, Brief Case and Unsolvable - have made my Xmas in these dark times. Cheers lads! Hope you all have a Merry Xmas Xx Jess
Merry Christmas! And best wishes for the new year 😊
Suicide of a dismembered body? Different.
He was murdered right? Smells like a cover up or incompetence.
Yet again another interesting video I'm really enjoying your channel stay safe x 🌟✨🎊
Very interesting case and well presented.
Relisten this remarkable job of yours. Hope you get more subscribers soon. Great channel indeed! Thank you Luke
Thanks, Elke! 😊
@@UNSOLVABLE
Always a pleasure!😊
I’m a Shimoyama this is very interesting to me!! Thank you!!!
I think murder case.
Died before being hit by train, could not be suicide.
MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL
Wonder what on earth he wanted from that department store? Was he shopping, or perhaps meeting someone there? Seems his death is part of a series of events, with those horrific 'accidents' being used as proof of how JNR could not function properly without adequate staffing. It does appear he was murdered. Perhaps he was kidnapped in the hopes it would force him to change his mind about the layoffs, but things got out of hand. Guess we will never know.
Great job as always, really look forward to your uploads. I'm late catching it this week as work has been crazy. I work with public health in Los Angeles, currently a nightmare. Thanks for the much needed distraction! Stay safe, Unsolvable 👍
I ran across a new mystery similar to Dyatlov's Pass. It's called the Buryatia Pass Incident or Khamar-Daban Mystery. I really think it's worth your time. There was a survivor this time.
You never disappoint! I love the cases from Japan! I wonder if he had a wife and family, and what they thought happened? One would have hoped that the death threat letters could have led somewhere. Thank you for the great video!
I only know this case while reading urasawa's billy bat. Good info btw👍🏾
