Loved it so much! I found myself laughing so much. The dressing and make-up was so beautiful and modest.( Not the kind you see in 90% of the nollywood movies nowadays!) And no curse worlds... And the acting, film was on point! Well done.👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🎉

Religious zealots do not believe in that stuff you list! They believe God will just put EVERYTHING in place. I have interacted with many overzealous religious people and still do. I have found they do think life is automatically done for them by God. I have seen many of them investing money without caring about understanding investment. To them God will make everything work. When it fails, it is just not God's time so they will never change. Nothing fails because they made a mistake. It is either God's time or an enemy working against them.

I cried watching this movie because it was so personal to me😭😭, got married to a man of God exactly like this but with a pinch of violence, this unfortunately almost pushed me out of church ,,but now we are on separation because exactly like this lady i started catching up with old friends,,this hurts because i loved my husband so much but he always accused me of things i never did and he was very judgemental unfortunately, unlike this pastor my husband doesn't see anything wrong .so i leave all to God

Honestly this movie is one of a kind. A lot of lessons here for married couples and everyone dealing with childhood traumas. This is not just for Christians. Most adults do not know how to show emotions and affections due to the environment they were raised. It takes a conscious effort to unlearn and relearn how you and your partner want to be loved.
Some men see expressing emotions/affection as a weakness but it’s not. It helps your partner feel wanted and blossom. I say this from experience as my hubby was not into PDA (private/public Display of Affection) and I didn’t see my parents do that. It took a conscious effort from me to initiate what I wanted (random hugs, kisses, sexy winks when passing 😂). He was quite shy at first but we are constantly a work in progress. Funny thing is that my first son (we have all boys) sees how emosh we are with each other and tells me ‘mummy I will care for my wife’. I will cook for her and buy things for her (these are some of the things he sees his dad do and vice versa. Children are watching and if we don’t intentionally correct the issues, it becomes a band wagon effect that unconsciously affects the next generation. In all, let’s do better. A beautiful movie as always.

This movie is an eye-opener, sad to say this was my exact life experience and all what my husband was concerned about was what the church will say.
