    Good working skills, I was a sheet metal worker in my younger days and made buckets and other similar item out of galvanised sheet metal, and tin plate, nice to see that these skills haven't been lost in time.

    I like these kind of manufacturing videos. Reminds me my childhood watching blacksmith working all the time. However I think if you remove the rust of that rod which became the handle it will be even better.

    Here in the US, that same bucket would cost a company 85¢ to make and sold for $7.99 retail price.

    I live in Swaziland and this is common, many tin butchers here, chimney tops, bathing dishes food trunks...all sheet metal not plastic.

      Switzerland lives like in 1940 with wood houses.
      You then travel to germany or France and it's like back to the future.
      They are very conservativ

      @@ADRIAN-zh4ti wrong continent, they said swaziland (africa) vs switzerland (europe). Although I've never been to either it seems swaziland is a developing country still so still behind a bit compared to the swiss. Although maybe switzerland like to do things the old fashioned way?

      😂🤦 this bucket might last a year, tops, but what you get in a shop that's injection molded will last for a decade if you don't throw it around like it's a ragdoll.

If it weren't for machines we wouldn't have even 20% of what we have today, it's not simply to "replace" a worker, it's to make life easier and better for all of us, including that worker you're talking about.

    I used to think that without electricity civilization would fall. These guys give me hope that some level of tech will survive and then flourish after some cataclysm. Preety impressive.

    That is a good quality bucket, unlike the products people buy from China. The handle is a little overkill (because I bucket must be both as light and as durable as possible). Good quality anyway.

      Вообще, вонструкция странная. Наше стандартное ведро больше в объеме и на одну деталь в нём меньше.

      It's a multi purpose bucket, used for trash, water, washing, cleaning, anything a bucket would be used for, had one like that when I lived in egypt
