    Dillan, great to see you getting onto and landing some “Bangers!” It actually hurts when I see you get done, busted off, smoked by GOOD fish, great to see you really hit paydirt!

      Just to clarify what I’m saying. Don’t in any way try to sweeten the package. Definitely keep all the footage of you getting done or just good fish drops off the hook. It all spices it up and makes the times you reel in a great fish all the more exciting. More exciting for us the viewers too.

      @@justinadams5159 thank you very much for that because it was so good to finally land a few of them and as you said I've been losing a few so it's a big win for me!
      Oh of course, I wouldn't have it any other way...posting the clips that end in no fish are almost imperative so that when I do get some fish my reactions don't seem to over the top 😂
      Next weeks video is one im very excited to release, I managed to land the biggest fish I've ever caught

    man its so satisfying to see some nice fish come onto the concrete, have you thought about trying some 5 inch plastics for the extra large fish down there? would love a flatty vid as well but good stuff anyways cheers bro

      Boy o boy do I have something for you next week man, it's the biggest fish I've ever caught in my life and it's a flatty!
      And also I've tired twice with bigger plastics but to no success...however 2 times isn't enough to count it as "I tried"

      @@dillantraykofish haha i knew you'd slam one bro since you were talking about having a go with the 4 inch holty. and yeah I always mark schools of jewfish and trev a bit closer to the bridge than where you typically vibe in your kayak but can never really stop to fish there as I dont have an electric interesting to see if they have much size about them 👍👍

    How did you learn to use soft plastics? If been giving them a go but never have any luck 🤦🏼‍♂️

    • @dillantraykofish
      @dillantraykofish  Год назад +1

      RUclips to be honest mate, it took me a while to land my first fish on a plastic but after that they came in one after the other, it might sound over said but use a 1/8th or 1/6th jig head with a 1 size hook (unless in water of about 6-9mtrs then use 1/4th) match that with a 2.5 or 3inch plastic and just cast out and let it sink then bring to "hop hop" and let it sink and keep repeating that 🎣

      Persist mate, try flicking them in shallow water and watch how they move. You’ll soon start hooking up
