Great video Mark! Thank you for sharing your family, friends, and life. I appreciate how considerate you are as you talk about all the yarny goodness going on with your projects. The information you share with knitting/crochet is very helpful. Good luck as you continue to work with your drone. I look forward to future videos, especially those with drone footage. 😊
We have several cats the newest just turned 1 a couple months ago. She came to live with us when she was just old. She was found alone under a house. She was all tangled up in some vines. We think the mom left her only because she couldn't get her out. Anyway, my daughter cared for this tiny kitten. Fed her every two hours with a syringe and took care of all her needs. Now she is one of our most affectionate cats. My husband has a drone. He has captured some beautiful videos and still shots of the place I grew up in and where we live now. I majored in Photography and Digital Imaging in college. Aside from yarn related interest, photography has been a passion for many years.
Gus has beautiful markings,, and those toe beans! My best friend and I haven’t seen each other for 18 years, but our phone calls are great! Having the one friend you can talk to about anything is important and therapeutic.
Congratulations to the new family member! If you take it with you on the plane, make sure to put the battery pack in to your handluggage, in the suitcase at least here in Europe they will take it away. Looking forward to many adventures!
happy belated birthday to scout! I loved the gratitude and appreciation here, especially in a world where these things can easily forgotten about during the chaotic day to day life. One boring tip for the drone and travel is to look up the laws in the countries you want to fly in. I live in Germany and here one needs to have a metal plaque mounted to the drone with the name (and I think address) of the owner, these laws can get you fined pretty heavily, if violated. Also look up the privacy laws (in regard to videoing and flying respectively) etc. just to be on the safe side.
Happy Birthday Scout! 🍤🥛 😂 While your are busy caking up, I was spinning yarn 👍 Good friends come and go, but true friends are always there. They can pick up a conversation ended 7 yrs ago as if it were just yesterday you last spoke. ❤
I just love your music...it always makes me want to dance! I noticed today that I have the same panda stitch markers as you. Thanks for always feeling so down to earth.
I am watching this with a good friend who is visiting - so timely! I finished the hexi-granny cardigan and am making a scarf to go with it with the leftover yarn.
I recently discovered your channel. I enjoy watching and listening to you. I live in Tucson, so the next time you're in Tucson for work I would love to one of your performances. I have a friend I knit with every week and she also watches your videos. We both want to see you perform. ❤
Looking forward to vicarious travel via your drone. It's one of the things that I've enjoyed from Beth MacDonald Stone's podcast and the Knitty Stew's podcasts. Be sure to check England and Scotland's rules about drone operation before you go on the trip. Enjoy!
Perfffffectly yarnie winding time for a Birthday Celebration ! Wishing you many treats, playful toys and of course snuggles for your Birthday Gus ! Holly Cow your are brave flying that drone over the water. The views were wonderful but my favourite was your stunning cart-wheel in the park :D. You are Blessed with such amazing friends ! Thank you for an other great video. Prayers from your Alberta senior.
Thank you for the company for my morning crochet (made my daily hexagon for my temperature blanket)! So good the drone survived the crash! I love photography and have been thinking about getting a drone myself. However, in the area where I live there are restrictions for flying drones due to the closeness to Arlanda airport. You might check out where you are allowed to fly your drone when in the UK so you don't get into trouble.
Mark, the drone videos were fun to watch. I especially loved your cartwheel!!! One of my brothers used to spend quite a bit of time flying (playing) with his drones and he would fly them above monuments in downtown Hamilton, Ohio just to get a close up of parts of monuments that are never seen by anybody. They are certainly fun to watch. I love to see things or locations in ways that we normally don't see objects or places. I used to be very active in photography and I loved exploring the world of macro photography. When you see things extremely magnified in (especially plants and flowers) you are able to get an entirely new perspective on the complexity of how things are made, grown and their functions. The same goes with drone videos and photography. You are able to see things in ways that you aren't able to see in any other way. Keep exploring and sharing your videos and shots.
I met my best friend in a Disney World Facebook group, she lives in Leeds, UK. I think we will be friends forever because our friendship isn't based on proximity or seeing each other in person. I love your channel, and I'm about to go join your Patreon. I'm very selective whose Patreons I join, yours will be the second paid one. Can't wait for the next video!
I've known my BFF for 50 years!!! We met in HS, we can be apart for years & get together like it was just yesterday....love her to pieces... Even better, she's knitworthy!!! My eldest furkid, Elwood, is 16!! He's is also completely toothless!! 😹😹
these are always so cosy ❤ was gonna work on my blanket with you but now I only have two minutes left and only just got myself set up😂 I do have a special person that I thought about, my boyfriend who started crocheting at the same time as me, just a few weeks before we met in person! we met online and it took a while to take that step. but now we keep gifting each other crochet pieces, we have yarn dates and I think this really connects us
Thank you for telling us aboud Woolstock yarn. It's great to hear it is not itchy. I looked online, it has the most beautiful colours. Now I know what present to ask for from Father Christmas 😊 Great job flying your drone 😂 looking forward to seeing more of the beautiful scenery you'll make for us ❤ And Happy Birthday to a beautiful kitty ❤ i love his face 😘
Happy birthday, Scout! 🎉😻 My best friend is my husband, who I've known for 49 years! 🤗 Many thanks for sharing your drone adventures - hopefully your flying skills will improve and result in some stunning footage. Looking forward to seeing your new project. I'm currently crocheting a baby blanket for a friend's first grandson 👶
Mark, on your recommendation I purchased a hank of Woolstok. I made a cowl to test its next-to-skin feel. I have "princess skin" and it didn't bother me at all. So now I own a sweater quantity!😊 Thank you for all of your wonderful content.
Not the extensions picture! 😂 Also the dancing hahah I love it and I love you! So so much. Don’t worry you won’t be able to get rid of me even if you wanted to.
Thank you Mark for this lovely chat. I am glad I pulled myself away from all the political coverage since Biden's debate disaster. Knitting and knitting podcasts help keep me sane. Love your channel!
Lovely episode. I have been watching a channel called "one pack wanderers" - they are an American couple who are currently travelling in Australia. They purchased a drone a little while ago and gave been taking the most breathtaking footage as they travel around the country. They use it really artfully throughout their episodes and they are great story-tellers too. I would highly recommend watching a couple of their episodes if you want to see how they thread it through their other footage and the length/speed/variety of drone shots they capture for some inspiration for you as you embark on your journey! Looking forward to seeing you explore!
Where do you buy your Woolstok? At your LYS? Tuxes are the best! I've always had them and just had to put my sweet Nellie (tux Manx) down last Thursday. For 8 months we fought a nasty infection of her mouth (stomatitis).
I had the privilege of having 3 or 4 relationships like that! I married one, besties with one since childhood. One of my besties from college zI lost as a result of medication he had been taking for AIDS for many years. I could not get to Frisco to be 11:08 with him as he passed
But I did get to tell him goodbye! Another girl bestie lives on the other end of the state, but we are staying in separate corners until after the election so we do not lose our friendship due to politics. Nothing replaces a good friendship! The drone adventures are great. It does take practice. Forgive the babbling.
I'm going to try knitting a sweater
And could use some help
Scout looks like a big cat. Happy birthday, Scout

Thank you! Will do!
I love your leftovers… they would make a great scarf or shawl if used together. I love your colors and I really enjoy your videos.
I enjoy seeing Big Cat, Gus and Stout is very handsome kitten!
Your drone footage is beautiful! The sun on the water actually makes me want to go to a beach, something I never want to do!

Good Morning Mark. Thank you for your words today. I used this time to spin on my wheel and enjoy listening.
That was so nice to enjoy with my coffee, casting on a new project. I recognized Fairport Harbor beach!

happy birthday scout!
Make sure you can fly the drone in areas where you will be. Some places do not allow them
I've applied for a permit to fly them in public spaces (far away from other people)!

Teresa's laugh is contagious.
I agree!!

How do you manage to put the Hank on the swift so it unwinds without catching?

@@MakerMarkKnits Thanks!
Cartwheel. I can’t do one anymore
I hadn't tried in about a year! I should do them more often...I always offer to try one out at the yarn shop. I might take a wall down with me!
Weird question... did you name your cat after your favorite yarn?
My husband has killed two drones, including one in a tree. It’s painful

Great chorus of color.
Videolarınızın birkaçını izledim yorum yaptım fakat bana dönüş yapmadınız yanıtsız bıraktınız🥺
Thank you for watching! I think I responded to your comment on my field sweater video - I remember translating it before responding!
