I can't even remember how I stumbled across this film but it's stayed with me ever since. I proudly own it and watch it at least twice a year. It's impact never wanes.
What people don't understand about the film is that it is very real and not dramatised. A Hollywood hit that appeals to the masses this is not, it is for those in search of a connection to truth. Is any part of life back or white, then why demand it from a film.
First time anyone has tackled Idiopathic Environmental Intolerances (Multiple Chemical Sensitivities) in a film. I was chemically poisoned with chemical inhalants in 2000 in a newly renovated workplace. No Workers Compensation. I have been disabled since them. Forced to leave my gregarious life and become a hermit. Occupational and environmental medicine are relatively new fields with very few specialists. Due to our toxic world more and more people are becoming ill.
