@@LeeWu-123 I went with Atlantis Blue with the Ice Grey interior, Yellow calipers with silver wheels. I did not do the full black pack and no privacy glass. Cheers, Ian

Still prefer Evora 400/GT over Emira.Just more raw experience which is what a true Lotus should be.
Sports or Touring suspension on the car?
IMO Sport will make it a better driver's car. I test drove the Emira with sport. Didn't buy it though.

I have it with the touring here in UK - unless it’s a track-only car touring is the better choice. The car is every bit as perfect as you want for a daily driver that is a special event every time you drive it. Turns heads like nothing else in this price range too
Great car. But when I looked into it, the first edition cost as much as a fully loaded C8 Stingray, so got the C8. The sound of a NA V8 and a auto-retractable hardtop clinched the deal. The C8 is a great daily. I drive it all winter in Canada, no issues. The Lotus dealer was excited to trade in my C8 for obvious reasons. Told him, not at the price they were asking for the Emira. I grant you the Emira is the better looking car. But bang-for-buck, just can't beat the C8 and I couldn't overlook it because of that.
The emira will probably handle a lot better and has a bit more soul

I think they are 2 different cars and it really just depends on what you like. I would personally take the Emira as I prefer the handling aspect but the Corvette is obviously more powerful. Either way they are both great cars you can’t really go wrong

lol its crap - heavy, slow round a track and has the weight distribution of a rear engined car without sophisticated RAS to aid stability. Its really a Geely.

@@dk4wncp No it doesn't at all - not by people who know what they're talking about. For example I have done 5 seasons of Carrera Cup split across two continents. Why do you think no one is publishing lap times..........the only published tests I'm aware of are around Anglesey coastal where the Exige 430 was over 4 seconds quicker and Lausitz where it was about the same as a Civic Type R.

I'm a little thrown by your comment: if there's one engine that can't be considered "junk" it's that particular Toyota V6. They're bulletproof. Like the literal anthesis of "junk". Can you expound?
@@dk4wncp I just completed a 3 and a half hour road trip to a lovely resort on the south coast. The Emira performed strongly, smoothly, and faultlessly. The trip was littered with thumbs up and cheers from countless people I car and sidewalks on the way. Ignore this guy. He’s just a clueless moron.

@@rboddington They are a small company and like many other collaborations they sourced an already proven engine and added the Edelbrock supercharger. It is a cost savings measure as producing your own engine and powertrain would likely double the price of the car. Mercury outboards partnered with Yamaha originally on their 4-stroke outboards. The Toyota Supra sits on the BMW Z4 chassis. Subaru and Toyota for the BRZ / GR86 cars. Pretty common practice these days.
